Seed Of Discrepancy #38

Churches Of First Church Age #2; Vindicated Authority: Apostle/Prophet Paul
#1696 /

Heavenly Father, we are very grateful concerning Your Presence, which we know You are here, for we know the Scripture said, “The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout.”

And we know when he said, ‘the Lord Himself’, that is Elohim, Jehovah-Elohim who has come down getting the church ready, absolutely ready to meet the Bridegroom in the air.

And when that Spirit becomes incarnate to us, we’ll crown Him King of kings and Lord of lords, and He will be the son of God, the son of man, the son of David.

And we thank You for that, Lord, that we have a revelation which has dispelled actually all controversy so that we are not led about by every wind of doctrine, or every voice that is around. But, rather, we are completely led by You as we come to listen to Your Word in which dwells the Holy Spirit.

Help us this morning, Lord, to study Your Word in a way that would be beneficial to us. Even as Brother Branham, “When that Spirit comes into the church at the end-time, it will make known the hour in which the church is living and reveal the great deep secrets of God and all His mysteries” that very hour in which we live, Lord, wherein lies this great peril and temptation.

We’re not only aware of it, but we also are wise unto the things of God, that we’ll conduct ourselves by Your help correctly, rightly, as dear sons of God.

So, help us in our study this morning, Lord, that we may know You even more personally than we have known, those things which You have given to us and the traps that are in the world today, that we might stand correctly.

In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

You may be seated.

01

Now, last week I went into quite a lengthy dissertation concerning the hour in which we live, and approaching it from the principle of Alpha and Omega, wherein Brother Branham stressed that, “Every seed in Genesis will come to full maturation, harvest, in the book of Revelation.”

So, we know that if there is any misunderstanding concerning what lies in the book of Genesis, there’s any controversy, all we really have to do is go to the book of Revelation and see the seed matured, so that you can tell exactly what seed it was that was sown.

And Brother Branham told us that it isn’t so much what is happening in between although we know that has to happen and it has to be there, and it was there and is there, we understand all that.

But when he gave us the principle of Alpha and Omega, he stressed it wasn’t so much what lay in between where people can wander around and get a lot of anxieties and different interpretations, but you zero in on what was sown and what is reaped at the end-time.

As I’ve said before in my own way, that if I have a board which has not been cut and glued together, but a continuous board, and one end is oak and the other end is oak, you’d better believe it’s an oak board.

So, what you see is all the full programming and the Word of God coming to pass, which we do have coming to pass in our midst today. We don’t need to worry so much about those things that have been in the past and even those things that are at

the very present if we can just begin to take up where Brother Branham brought us, which was that masterpiece of a sermon where Spoken Word is Original Seed.

And to understand that in the light of the beginning and the ending, you have a very perfect picture of everything that’s gone through the ages.

And you have a complete revelation of history, a complete revelation of doctrine, a complete revelation of the present-time, Who God is, what He is doing, what He intends to do, what is going on now and the errors that are in those various ages.

02

So, all right. That’s the way it is, you know, if you don’t have a connector, like Brother Branham, you’re not going to hear from God, period. Okay… I don’t care who… we’ll go into that perhaps this morning.

But anyway, we looked at the beginning, which is the beginning of the last 2000 years, and coming to this hour we found there are two churches that Brother Branham mentioned.

And actually he mentioned and spoke of one in a more detailed manner, than he did of the other. And the one he spoke of in detailed manner was the one that was a church that actually never was in order, to our knowledge.

It never did have the unmitigated established ultimate tie-post truth. That was the Corinthian church. And the other one was the Ephesian church which positively was the one that was truly set in order by the apostle Paul.

And you’ll notice in the very 1st chapter of the first 15 verses, and then those next verses, 16 on down to about 23 which encompass our age, he laid out the whole picture of eternal redemption, beginning in God coming down through the Son and coming down through us, which would be a natural election into a perfect predestination. And that was all done in a nutshell.

And then you see at… the next few verses in there take you over to chapter 4 wherein there is a repeat of the Holy Spirit bringing the church into perfect order, and the church unto the ultimate where Brother Branham mentioned the ministry had to be so perfect to bring the Capstone down.

And that’s what we’re looking at in this hour that church coming to full fruition. As Brother Branham said, “Ephesus must repeat again; it must come again.” He didn’t say the Corinthian church must come again, but you’d better believe it has to come again.

Now the reason we know that, is the actual fact of the matter not only did Brother Branham teach that church ages, though based on seven churches which were local in Asian Minor, there’s a continuity of all those seven churches right up to the end-time.

And this is something that you can look at instantaneously in the book of Revelation by just looking at the first church age and then we can repeat for every single church age.

03

Now John says, the Revelator… and remember, John was just a scribe in this instance. He did not have a revelation of all of this in the sense that… as Paul did.

This is a prophecy given to John who was an apostle, but a scribe. And he says here in the 2nd chapter,

Revelation 2:1,7

(01) Unto [the church which is in] Ephesus… [And then he says in the 7th verse:]

(07) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches…

And the churches are plural, and there are seven of them. And then you’ll notice in the next church age, the same thing is said:

Revelation 2:11

(11) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

And that goes on for exactly the seven churches which have the seeds within them that are bearing today in full fruition. And in the second church age it says:

Revelation 2:9

(09) I know thy works, [thy] tribulation…

Even as it says in the first church [verse 4]… “You’ve left your first love”. And there are those in them that call themselves Jews and are not. So, you’ve got a people in there that are a bunch of liars.

And so now the church has taken on a swarm of liars within its midst.

And then you go on down to the third church age. And you’ll have those that… “I have a few things against thee… that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.”

04

Now, here’s where they’re entering into actual idolatry of things sacrificed to devils. And they’re mimicking the Lord’s table and actually calling it the Lord’s table when they’re in idolatry. And then they have the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which was hated.

And then you get over to the next church age, number four, the Thyatiran, and you have there this prophetess… she’s Jezebel. And of course, Jezebel is a woman which has no right to teach in the church.

So, now the church has relinquished headship to what was the queen of Ahab. And so now, the Catholic church calling itself the Queen of Heavens and the Bride of Jesus Christ, and the wife of Almighty God, they have set the church in complete disarray and complete disorder.

Now, I want you to notice that every one of those seeds of discrepancy are coming up. And so you don’t just say, well this age came up and it’s gone, this one came up and it’s gone. That is not true.

Every single seed that was sown in the first church age. And these churches are depicting the various ages, which are[in]number seven, that the whole church goes through, both the false church and the Bride, the foolish virgin the whole kit ‘n kaboodle.

They all go through and they’re coming up.

05

Now, we can prove this right here. You watch it, it says:

Revelation 2:20

(20) Notwithstanding, I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess…

And the church calls itself the ‘ultimate’ of God. They’re speaking for God, and so when you hear the church you hear God. So [if] you’ll join the church, you’ve joined God, right?

That’s exactly what you’re looking at. And that’s exactly fallacious. It’s a terrible, terrible situation, but what are you going to do about it? All right.

Revelation 2:20-22

(20) …to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.

(21) And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

(22) Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into a great tribulation…

Now, the great tribulation has nothing to do with that church of the first age, called Thyatira. They’re not cast into the great tribulation. They miss the great tribulation, and they come up at the end, at the white throne and are cast into the Lake of Fire.

So, you see, you just can’t say… you can’t say that this is a true, historical picture of the church. Now, one of Brother Branham’s closest friends could never believe this. That’s why he could never believe that Brother Branham was Malachi 4.

The best he could say he was, “Well”, he said, “If so and so, and so and so, and then Brother Branham would get my vote.” Well, hey! If Clinton would show he’s a real man… never mind his politics.

If I knew that he was a godly sincere Christian, I could vote for him. It wouldn’t do any good, though. Because he’d be corrupt like the rest pretty soon.

Because the Christian has got no business in politics, anymore than a woman has got in the pulpit preaching.

06

Now, see, so he says here:

Revelation 2:22-23

(22) …except they repent of their deeds.

(23) And I will kill her children with death;

See, “I will put to death her children with death.” That’s a funny statement. “I will kill with killing.” That’s the second death. Now when does that come? After the great white throne.

So, you could take every one of these ages here, and no matter what it has said, the seeds are in there. And you notice the seeds of discrepancy get greater and greater because in the seed of discrepancy and we’ll talk about it more you will find that these people have strayed.

They have erred from the Word of God, and they do not have a true revelation of it. Now, they could have a book, a compendium… they could have a library of books like this Bible.

Hey! Be not deceived. You could have not just sixty-six books, you could have six hundred sixty-six books, or six thousand, or six million. That has nothing to do with it.

07

When you err from the enlightened Word, you finally come to the place where Brother Branham mentioned, “The last plague in Egypt was death”. And the last plague in America and all the earth everywhere, every single group is plagued with death, because nothing outside of this Message comes to life.

Now, that’s something that Brother Branham drew as a conclusion. And not only as a conclusion through Brother Branham’s own brain, but there has to be somebody at some time whose children are not killed with death.

There has got to be a time when immortality proves who is right. And it’s still not going to prove anything, because the people of the world won’t even know it’s taking place. Like Billy Graham said, “They’ll be having altar calls.”

And in Pentecost they’ll be pounding the benches and screaming and falling and talking in tongues, and they won’t even know what has happened. Why? They can’t know what has happened. The rapture is secret.

08

There are so many people missing today. If you pick up the reports on little children, and go to the post office, and look at your milk cartons, and you see that literally hundreds of little children and even mature women that have been abducted and destroyed, there isn’t a trace of them.

And you and I don’t even know about it. Actually, the further matter, let’s be honest, we all really don’t care about it. Well, do we? Only if it’s brought to our attention we

feel a little sympathy. “Oh, my God, is this taking place?” Yes, it is. And do you think, for one minute then, if there are a few hundred people taken in a rapture, and they’re going to go a few at a time, anybody’s going to know anything?

Oh, why they say, like Elijah… or like Elijah said to the Balaamites, “Maybe your god is out hunting and maybe having such a good party, and the noise going on, he can’t even hear you.

Why don’t you scream a little louder just in case, you know, he’s a little bit deaf or something?” Hey! You’d have to know that’s the truth, because you’re not unwise concerning the things of this hour.

09

Then notice the next church age, the fifth one. He said, “There are a few that haven’t got their garments defiled. At least there are a few of them, they look like they’re a pretty good shape.” But, you see, then again, he said

Revelation 3:3

(03) Remember therefore how thou has received and heard…

Now, how did they “receive and hear”? From a vindicated prophet! So, from this point on there is no hope for any church ever believing in a vindicated prophet coming to the Gentiles. There is no way they will believe that Elijah is a Gentile prophet to the Gentiles.

Because it says here, ‘You forgot it.” Huh? Well, you do what you want with it; I do what I want with it. See, when I read my Bible, all I can see is this Message. I don’t know about you, that’s your business.

I’m where Brother Branham wants me to be. He said, “When you believe this Message, all you’ll see in the Bible is this Message.” Now, I know Seventh Day Adventists do the same thing. All they do is see the Sabbath that’s a baptism.

Salvation Army that’s the uniform is their baptism. Hey, I know that. That is the imitation, the seducer. But I am not under seduction. And neither are you under seduction, because you realize only a vindicated prophet could even begin to tell us what’s in this Book.

Why? Because you’ve seen the drift of it. Oh, it’s convenient to put it back there two thousand years ago. That’s great, just put it there and blindly go on like what? The Laodicean church “We’re rich, increased in goods, don’t need anything.”

But you’re wretched, miserable, blind and naked! Well, you go ahead, if you don’t believe me and believe the prophet. Pardon me, I’ll reverse it; If you don’t believe the prophet and believe that I’m teaching correctly, you come up here and stand beside me and correct me.

I’ll give you time. But you’ll have more time in the Lake of Fire than I will, I can tell you that. See, I don’t intend to be there. See, there’s a difference.

“Not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter into My Kingdom”… and even those that cast out devils and speak in tongues. And they’re the greatest offenders because this is the hour they’re doing it.

10

Pentecost went back 2000 years, 1800 years, 1600 years, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, now, and got a little bit of evidence that there were tongues and interpretations and these things in there, and miracles in all we’re doing, and now they say, “Ha-ha!

We’re the right ones. See? We’ve got that restored. We’re the original true church.” Yeah. Poor bunch of Baptists under the late Dr. Carol, wonderful man of God, at least for a little while.

He got a little bit ‘potty’ I guess… soft in the head, and pretty soon he was saying the Baptists never were in the Catholic church. He took them all the way back to John the Baptist. Well, if you took them back to John the Baptist, what are you going to do when Paul came to Ephesus and said, “You guys are all wrong.”?

I’m sorry for the man. See, I know about him. No different from Dr. Lee who preached a great sermon on Jesus Christ being Savior, “Come-on, get born-again.” Then he comes over and shakes my hands, “Now you’re born-again.” That’s in my day down in Houston, Texas.

The church today is wretched, miserable, naked and blind. They cannot see God, and they see nothing from God. And remember, you see with your ears. Yeah, I can prove it. Samuel heard a voice.

Eli said, “Next time you hear that voice, you say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Thy servant heareth’.” And Samuel heard God, and then God said, “Tell Eli the vision.” So, you see with your ears. Unh? Why?

You see with your ears because the ear goes to the mind and it’s with the mind only that you hear and you see and you feel and you know, and nothing else. And if you are a child of God, a real child of God, when you hear the Word the seed will take it because that’s your soul.

So, I’m telling you flat: I go with historians, and I go with Brother Branham. I do not go with these other preachers. I will not do it, because I can show you, and you know… hey!

You know in your hearts, you know in your minds that the seeds were sown there, and they’re here today!

So now, if the Laodicean church is the final church, which is a Pentecostal-chaff church, their children will be burnt in the Lake of Fire, because already death has been in them for 2,000 years.

You do what you want with it. I’m a nasty preacher, I don’t doubt… I’m mean.

11

Anyway, there are two churches Brother Branham talked about. He talked about the Ephesian church. And in the book of Daniel, Daniel’s seventieth week, he brings out this statement that is in Ephesians 1 which we know to be a… 17th verse perhaps the 16th and the 17th combined, but maybe more the 17th and it says:

Ephesians 1:17

(17) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Now in the first age, even with that resplendent pristine perfect revelation, they missed this. So, therefore, the truth of the Godhead was already gone kaput in the first age.

Now if you don’t believe that’s right, you read 1st John, all of it, and you will find that he that does not have the Son does not have the Father; so you’ve got to have both of them. And it’s not Trinity and it’s not Oneness. Well, come-on, prove it.

12

I just quote the Scripture and they fall dead; they hate me. Now they’re writing books with my name. Oh, I’m getting popular. I’m getting notoriety. And getting notorious is wonderful. If they ever tell the truth about me I’m in trouble.

As long as it’s lies, I don’t have any problem. Misquoting everything. Why don’t they come and meet me in here? I’m an old man; I’m eighty-two years of age. I can’t run around.

Maybe I should pray for the strength of Caleb; the old guy at ninety taking mountains and taking on the heathen, run around and challenge them. It isn’t worth it. What would I accomplish? I’m not here to change people, and goats into sheep, if so they be goats.

Which I don’t know, but the way they’re talking there is certainly something wrong. Not because they’ll come against me, but they’ll listen to me quote the prophet and then turn right around and say they’re quoting Lee Vayle.

When I make the quotes, that’s not Lee Vayle. If you think for one minute that William Branham’s doctrine was my doctrine, and my doctrine was his doctrine, you are mentally

unsound this morning, because I knew nothing of serpent seed. I knew nothing of seed. And I fought the baptism with the Holy Ghost as being the rebirth. We argued for four and a half hours over it […four and a quarter], and I was getting nowhere.

I said, “Brother Branham, are you trying to tell me the rebirth and the baptism with the Holy Ghost are one and the same thing?” He said, “Now you’ve got it, Doc.”

I said, “Hold it, right there.” Man, was I mad. He kept his cool. I didn’t keep my cool. Well, I kept it pretty good. I said, “What about your two experiences?”

He said, “What two experiences?”

Oh brother, sheesh, man I was steaming by then. Man, I said, “You ought to know; you had them!” “Oh, Brother Vayle, you are a bad boy, talking so nice to the prophet.” Then why do you go behind his back and talk? I talk to his face. We settle her.

He said, “What two experiences?”

You talk about steam out of one ear. Steam out of two ears and fire out of my eyeballs. Shaking inside, completely undone. Merciful God, what is this man?

“Well”, I said, “The time that you went out by yourself and you got saved and your life is changed and all. And another time, like rain falling on your body, you speaking in tongues.”

He said, “Brother Vayle, we don’t go by experiences. We go by the Word of God.”

13

Now take your book of Acts and tell me you can trace the truth! Can’t do it. You’ve got to go to Paul. So, all right. Two churches the Ephesian church and the Corinthian church. Now, there is no doubt that the apostle Paul went to Corinth.

And he could have been completely, and perhaps was completely oblivious which I kind of doubt very much that Peter had been there, and there was a church there ahead of him.

But, if we go to the Acts 17, as we did last week… and I’m repeating this because I want this to sink in where you really know where you are today, where the seeds are, what’s maturing and how this church is right in our midst today, and we are in the midst of it as the Ephesian church, a true church in the midst of a seduced church. So, in Acts 17:15, it says:

Acts 17:15

(15) And they that conducted Paul [or were his guides and his cohorts in the journey] brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.

14

Now, you can see here that this man, Paul, was in Athens. Now notice what it says over here in the 18th chapter:

Acts 18:1

(01) After these things Paul departed from Athens and came to Corinth;

So Paul now lands in Corinth after he had been to Athens; and here he is it says:

Acts 18:2-3

(02) And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them. [Now these people, here, were the ones that Paul contacted.]

(03) And because he was of the same craft [tent-makers, or harness makers whatever, who-knows; there’s a big argument], he abode with them and wrought [in other words, he did his work there]: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.

Well, I would sooner believe they were tent makers than harness makers. I don’t think they had too many horses in those days.

Acts 18:4-5

(04) And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

(05) And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

Now, you notice that Paul has come to Jews. Peter did not come to Jews, he came to Gentiles. So now after, Paul is talking to the Jews, which he always did, going to the synagogues and doing his best to make converts, he would have to, then, turn to the Corinthian people. That would be the Gentiles.

15

Now:

Acts 18:6-8

(06) And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. [“So, never mind, you Jews, you and I are finished…” finished with the Jews in Corinth.]

(07) And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.

(08) And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the LORD with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

Now, the point is this: did every one of those actually listen to Paul, or did they have some previous revelation, because Peter was in Corinth. Now we know he was in Corinth.

That’s absolutely true, because there was a man who was a centurion sent down to Joppa to get Simon Peter to come and deal with him because each one had a separate vision, which visions came together.

And Peter came down, and when he preached the Word of the Lord Jesus Christ, these people all received the Holy Ghost who weren’t even baptized in water. See, they had received the Holy Spirit; now they’re baptized.

Acts 18:9-11

(09) Then spake the LORD to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

(10) For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee [That’s there, but not down the road]: for I have much people in this city.

(11) And he continued there [eighteen months], teaching the word of God amongst them. [See?]

16

Now, so Paul was down there in that particular church. Now notice, he leaves there.  And it says, here, Paul goes down to various places, and finally he’s in his journeys.  He comes … he tarried a good while, and then he goes to Syria.  And then he goes down to Ephesus.  And that’s [verses] 18-19.  And then over here we find him in the 19th chapter:

Acts 19:1

(01) And it came to pass that, while Apollos was at Corinth…

And remember, Apollos was up here at Ephesus, but he didn’t understand the truth. He got as far as John the Baptist, but he didn’t get any further. Well, that won’t do you any good. That’s the same as, “I know the prophet.”

And William Branham was very pressed with this. He said, “Branham Tabernacle, have you received the Token? Have you received Jesus Christ?”… in other words.

And he talked about Moses. Moses came with great signs and wonders. And Moses said, “Put the blood on the door posts and stay there, because the midnight hour is at hand, and the first-born are all going to be destroyed.”

And let me tell you flat: there wouldn’t be any first-born of God, which is a Bride, except she has this Message and is under the Blood, is going to get out of here. She’ll die with the foolish virgin. But no, she will listen.

And so, Brother Branham talks about the rabbi that says, “Oh, I believe that’s the truth.” “Rabbi, that’s great. You should put the blood.” Then he talks about two women. And he said, “One woman said, ‘Come-on, let’s go [to] the party; let’s go dancing.’

And she said, ‘No, I’ve got to stay under the Blood’.” And Brother Branham knew that people would look to him and make him Jesus Christ, and make him a prophet, and make him this and make him that. And then, superimpose him upon Jesus Christ till there was no Jesus Christ, nor Blood or Holy Spirit left.

17

And that’s exactly where the Branham people are today! Brother Branham did not come to make himself great. He said, “There’s no great ones among us.” Because why? The One veiled in the Pillar of Fire, that shekinah glory, reflected above his head.

No great popes, and no great this, and no great Bill Branham. Let’s face it. No great virgin Mary. And when you come in the presence of Jesus Christ there is no great Jesus Christ compared to God Who is his Father! Let’s face it, brother/sister.

Remember, it’s always Scripture: “Blessed be the God Who is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Blessed be the supreme One Who bowed Himself to have a Son, and many born-ones. But remember, He is God!

“Oh no, He’s this, He’s…” Yeah. A lot of fathers make the mistake, they want to be ‘pals’ to their children. Phooh, what nonsense. You’re the head of the house. If you have a child, the child respects you above everything in the world, and the mother.

Not some stupid little connotation by Dr. Spock, where the kids can throw the porridge. I trained our boy in one fell-swoop. He tried that on me. I picked him out of his chair and whopped him… just like that a couple times, put him in his crib.

He never did that one more time, because he liked his breakfast. You can have Dr. Spock and all your stupid psychologists you want. I didn’t hurt him any.

I hurt his pride and showed him he wasn’t going to boss me. Not trying to… a little tiny gaffer, but just trying to let him know, “Hey! You don’t run the house.” That’s where the church is.

They think they can twist God’s arm and make God do what they want. Latter Rain came out years ago… “ ‘Command ye me concerning the works of my hands’ we’re going to command God, we’re going to command God.”

Go ahead and command God! Go ahead… Huh! That’s the devil. It’s not a nice little Christian.

18

Paul goes down here into Ephesus, and we don’t hear… as Brother Branham said, “We don’t hear one thing that Paul had to say to the Ephesian church, because it was entirely in order.” The church was in order.

Now… Paul, now, comes to Corinth. And let’s understand what Paul himself said about his own ministry… his own ministry, and what he did in Corinth. And I don’t care what Peter did.

He had the keys of the Kingdom, and opened the doors to the Jews and to the Gentiles. In other words, God used him as spokesman. And that’s what Brother used the term, “He was the spokesman.” Right? So, all right.

Now, Peter is the spokesman. Now, you’ll notice that Peter himself did not give the people one sign whatsoever that he was vindicated by God to be so. Jesus just told him, “I give you the keys to the Kingdom.”

Now, the Catholic church, as Malachi Martin says… he said, “Who but the Pope has the fisherman’s ring?” Well, ding-a-ding-a-ding, what’s a fisherman’s ring? Merciful God! Take a tin can… what has a ring got to do with it?

And here is an educated man that knows history and everything else. And [Brother Vayle continues in a mocking tone] “the Pope’s got the fisherman’s ring.”

He’s also got a stupid pagan hat on his head, and dresses like a frumpy, frowzy old woman. And his priests go around with their collars on backwards, and frowzy stupid things, too.

And guzzle wine. And their church is now filled with homosexuals. You tell me he’s got anything we want? Now, he’s supposed to come from Peter.

19

Yeah, Peter was a spokesman. But Peter wasn’t vindicated. Tell me any vindication Peter had. He wasn’t vindicated. He just stood there, and God began to move. He didn’t even know what was going to happen. He didn’t.

He was startled at what happened, even with the vision he had coinciding with the other fellow’s vision. That let’s you know you can have any number of visions under God’s high heaven; that’s not going to do a thing for you! No!

What did it do for Peter? He backslid. And Paul called him a hypocrite, because when he ate with those Gentiles at Corinth and kept eating with the Gentiles, the bunch from Jerusalem, James the legalizer and the rest and their disciples… apostles, and they came down.

And Paul went to them, and they said, “Hey, you can’t eat with Gentiles.” And Paul said, “I withstood Peter to his face.” Because he was to be blamed; he was a hypocrite. The word ‘dissimulate’ means ‘to be a hypocrite’.

A dissimulator is a hypocrite. Dissimulation is hypocrisy. I wish to God the Bible had’ve just said so. The translators were very frowzy on that one. Hypocrite! He said, “Peter, how come that you ate with them and now you’ve turned your back on it, you’ve backslidden on the truth?”

And they tried to get a bunch circumcised, and Peter just stood back. Now, this is getting red-hot right now, because I know you people are very reverent and you’re saying, “Now, Brother Vayle, you may just go too far talking about dear old saint Peter.”

Aha! I’ve got my Bible here, honey. I’ve got a Bible. I don’t care what you think you’ve got, or anybody else has got. Paul called him a hypocrite. He said their hypocrisy was so strong that Barnabas began to waver.

They said, “We’re going to take Timothy and circumcise him, or he ain’t with it.” Huh! Cut your head off, and you can go to hell and burn in the second death. Unh? What’s circumcision got to do with it? It’s an act of disfigurement. Nonsense.

20

Okay, we go to 1 Corinthians 3. And now, we could read the whole thing. So, we’ll read… I’ll take my time, if I’ve got to use this same sermon for about six or eight times to get the complete picture, because I’m not in any rush.

1 Corinthians 3:1-2

(01) And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. [Now, this is a church that he established. And I’ll prove it to you.]

(02) I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Now, he said the same thing to the Hebrews: “When it comes time to give you strong meat and I’m going to reveal Melchisedec to you, you can’t take it!” So, only at the end-time where maturity comes ripening, perfection when it is all over, can the truth about Melchisedec truly be revealed.

And it blows your mind to really understand the implications therein. It actually shows the Millennium Melchisedec, priest unto the Most High God; King of righteousness, King of peace. And He must have had a Kingdom, because He’s King.

And He must have had a retinue; He must have had people under Him. And here, like a mirage, this city here is upon the earth, and Abraham is right there with Him.

Ah, that’s a picture to me of the Millennium, when God Himself is down here incarnate in the Lord Jesus Christ, and the great reign is going on. It’s a Kingdom. You bet it is! It blows your mind.

21

Now, he said,

1 Corinthians 3:3-4

(03) [You’re carnal]: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

(04) For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

Apollos went down there only knowing the revelation that the two the man and the woman from Rome, who were Christian Jews gave him concerning Jesus. He never had the full unmitigated, vindicated, revealed truth mouth to mouth and ear to ear from God as Paul said, and neither did Peter. Unh? You bet your life, that’s right.

I’m preaching this way, hard, because you see here’s what Brother Branham said, and they couldn’t take it. And that’s why he said, “Lee, I’m glad you wrote this book about me, 20th Century Prophet, because, see, you can say the things I can’t say.”

And you bet I’m saying them, and I’m going to keep saying them. Now, William Branham is no God of Lee Vayle, you’d better believe that. But there isn’t anybody I respect above him, or even hold a candle to him.

And I don’t care, I’ve got the books too, and I’ve read a lot of books in my time. Huh! You can have them. I’ll even autograph them for you and give them to you.

22

1 Corinthians 3

1 Corinthians 3:5-6

(05) Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? [Every man? Nah! Just believers… just believers.]

(06) I have planted. Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

Now, if Paul planted, then he is the originator. Now, he doesn’t say one thing about Peter. Is that right? He said, “I planted. Apollos watered.” So, this is a very personal thing in this personal church, we’re talking about.

1 Corinthians 3:7-8

(07) So then, neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

(08) Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one:…

They’ve got to be! Or this fellow comes along with strange water… maybe ‘holy’ water the Catholic priest uses on a woman that’s been married three times and had twelve kids, but the new man she’s got will give them a big bundle of dough.

So he sprinkles holy water and says, “I pronounce thee a virgin.” That’s better than God does. Brother Branham said, “A woman that commits adultery or sins before she’s married in fornication, he said she can be forgiven, but not justified.”

You try to figure that out. Well, I’ll tell you what it is: she lost what she lost. You never get it back; you lost it. Do you think God’s going to marry a prostitute, a fallen woman? She’s got to be virgin.

Now, we’re not talking about virgin in the flesh, now. We’re going to go right to the virgin, the Word. Because it’s not the body under seduction what I just said a minute ago, it’s the mind under seduction. So, all right, maybe we’ll have time to go into that.

23

Now:

1 Corinthians 3:9

(09) For we are labourers together with God; ye are God’s husbandry [you are God’s field of agriculture], ye are God’s building [you are God’s edifice].

So now, he’s got a mixed metaphor, here. Oh no, he hasn’t! Oh, no. They’re living stones made into this building. And they’re going up… growing up to where the same Cornerstone rejected becomes the Capstone and more rejected, crucifying to themselves the Son of God afresh.

Right? Aha… which is the Holy Spirit. See, these people, even when they crucified Christ did not do despite to Jesus Christ Himself, but the despite was done to God, because that was His Word! Unh?

Why sure. It’s both, but don’t worry, I’m giving you the higher meaning… the tougher meaning of the two. Now listen:

1 Corinthians 3:9-10

(09) …ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

(10) According to the grace of God which is given unto me… [“I, the apostle Paul, have it!” Big mouth… nope. No big mouth.]

We ain’t going to get through today, don’t worry. Now, “According to me, as a wise master-builder…” Three classes of people God sends to the church: prophets, wise men, scribes.

Paul is now classifying himself, not as a prophet or as an apostle, though he is indeed, but he’s qualifying himself now as the wise man, which is part of a ministry which is able to take not only the Word of God take it as direct from God like a scribe would but now reveals it and teaches it.

And yet people say all the time, “You cannot give a revelation.” And they want to put people like me down because I teach.

24

I’m going to tell you something: No man ever got a revelation, and no man ever will. Do you know why? Because the Word of God comes flat direct… flat direct. And then God begins to move on it. And if God had not given Moses and His prophets the flat direct Word, without the revelation, we would not have got it just simply jotted down in perfection.

Now you say, “Just a minute.” No, I’ll just-a-minute you! Do you think for one minute that Isaiah knew what he was talking about? William Branham said he didn’t. Do you think prophets knew what they were prophesying?

William Branham said they didn’t. and I can prove by history that they didn’t. And I can prove by the Old Testament that these men did not know when they prophesied concerning the suffering of Jesus Christ they knew what they were really talking about.

Because, God interprets His Word by manifesting it, bringing it to pass. Unh? You’d better believe it. That’s exactly the truth of Almighty God. And people say, “Well, Brother Vayle, you can’t give people a revelation, so don’t teach.”

Hogwash! You teach the Word of God. As Paul told his son, Timothy, “Teach the Word of God.” Like he said to everyone, “Teach the Word of God, teach the Word of God, and then it’s up to God if that person’s a sheep. And if he’s a sheep he’s going to get it.”

25

I’m sick and tired of all this jazz and talk they’re trying to hand to me. I’m so sick, I want to get out of here. I’ve hand it up to here with this ridiculous stuff that people promulgate. When I can go to the Scripture and take every single thing and put it right in front, they still…

Like Brother Branham, they spit it back in my face like they spit in his face. But they’d sooner have these guys that jazz around with their song and dance and promise you pie-in-the-sky and oh, they’re going to reveal some great mysterious secret.

And they don’t even know what I’m talking about. Do you know why? Because they’re part of Pentecost. The very thing I’m hitting this morning as Brother Branham hit it.

And don’t tell me I’m not hitting it right, because Brother Branham said, “Peter, James, and John and all the guys came and they said, ‘Oh, we ate with him; we slept with him; we talked with him; oh, face to face.’ But [he said] Paul had the revelation!” Amen!

Ah, let’s dance in the isles. I could take off myself. I’m criticized because I don’t have you screaming. If I don’t have you screaming, you don’t have the victory. What is that? Wahoo, mountain dew? Yes, I’m sarcastic, and I mean to be. I don’t intend to not be sarcastic.

26

Let’s read a little further, 1 Corinthians 3

1 Corinthians 3:10

(10) According to the grace of God which is given unto me…

Now, remember, grace and truth never are separated. Right? Paul’s talking of truth. And by grace he has got the truth.

1 Corinthians 3:10

(10) …as a wise master-builder, I have laid the foundation [“I have laid the foundation… I have laid the foundation.” It wasn’t Peter. It wasn’t Apollos. It wasn’t John. It wasn’t James. It wasn’t anybody else; it was Paul. And he said]… another buildeth thereon. [Unh? Okay, let’s keep reading.] But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereon.

Not what, but how! Not what, but how. Unh? Oh, come-on! Certainly it’s not what! What is the Bible? W-H-A-T is this Word. It’s how you take this Word and use it! Hunh? Merciful God, you know if a man’s going to build a building out of bricks, it’s going to be bricks.

If it’s going to be stone, it’s going to be stone. If it’s going to be clay, it’s going to be clay. If it’s going to be… anything. Plastic? They’ve got it. You just keep building it. But you’d better know how.

You’d better know how with what you’ve got or you’ve got a shmozzle. You’ve got an absolute mess.

27

Now, let’s keep going:

1 Corinthians 3:11

(11) For other foundation can no man lay [and I laid it], which is Jesus Christ [and He is the Word].

Now, there’s the thing where people don’t want to accept what Brother Branham said. They say, “Well, that’s an interjection. That’s an interpolation.” No! It’s a revelation that has been given to you and me.

And if we have the same Spirit William Branham had, as he had the same Spirit that God has, that Jesus has, that Paul has, that Moses had, which… there’s only one Spirit, only one life-line, only one Word, nothing else.

Well, then, fine. We’re right in line with it.

1 Corinthians 3:12-13

(12) Now, if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stone, wood, hay stubble [oh-oh, that stuff burns down there];

(13) Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

Didn’t say the building material, so much, because there are gold, silver, precious stone; the other stuff burns. So you’ve got a church that’s going to be built out of the durable stuff. “I tell you, ‘Buy of me gold tried in the fire’.”

If you want to be part of the Bride you’d better have that gold there. You can’t have wood, hay and stubble. And it said the fire is going to… every man’s work.

1 Corinthians 3:14-15

(14) If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. [See? Doesn’t say he’s even lost.]

(15) If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

28

In other words, Paul lays it out and he tells you right here, “I’ve laid the foundation, but there are going to be people messing this thing up, and they don’t even mean to mess it up. And they’ll be in a mess. And they don’t want to be in a mess, but they’re in it.

And you’ll see, what they’ve built is going to be destroyed.” Only that which is the little bit of the Word even if it’s a tiny bit by the Holy Ghost takes this Bride and brings her up right there, because a sperm… 15,000 sperm will go across the diameter of a single human hair.

You don’t need much truth, brother/sister. You just need the truth. You need just one sperm to take one egg and bring forth a baby. So, you just need one sperm, one living Word of God. If that’s all God wants to give to any age, one living Word…

He gave it all, under Paul. The revelation wasn’t all there. Now, under William Branham, it’s come back. We’ll talk about that, too. That’s pitiful, we just don’t get things talked out, do we?

29

Now:

1 Corinthians 3:16-17

(16) [Don’t you know that you’re] the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

(17) If any man defile the temple of God, [God will destroy him”… and so on, right down the line.]

Now, what I’m trying to bring out here is the fact and it is a fact that the church in Corinth was split. It was full of schisms and factions. And one said, “I am of Paul. I’m of this; I’m of that.”

And I say although we don’t mean it we only do it to differentiate ourselves; we call ourselves “Branhamites” or “Message People”. We should be just called ‘Christians’, because that was the name accepted in the first church age.

And we are Christians. And the word ‘Christian’ comes from two words: Christos [or Christus, which is Christ the ‘us’ instead of the ‘os’, which is Roman], and eo meaning ‘to go’.

So, if you are a Christian, you mean you are ‘going under the Spirit’. How can any man claim he is under the Spirit and the Spirit of God wrote this Book and his own spirit and his own soul doesn’t say Amen to every Word by a vindicated prophet?

So, here is Paul coming on the scene, with a church that has a history of speaking in tongues and of prophesying and gifts of the Spirit. But they have not had a vindicated teacher, a vindicated prophet.

30

Now, let me show you, Paul didn’t only withstand Peter in the book of Galatians, but he withstood him over here in 1 Corinthians 14:36-37.

Now, you know I’m preaching without notes, on the top of my head, so it’ll be a little mixed up. Now, in the 14th chapter:

1 Corinthians 14:36-38

(36) What? came the Word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

(37) If any man think himself to be a prophet […“Okay, Peter. Okay, Apollos. Okay, the rest of you guys], or spiritual [full of the Holy Ghost. “Okay, Peter. Come-on, James. Come-on, John. Come-on, every one of you. Come-on, Apollos. Every one of you, come-on], let him acknowledge that the things that I [… Paul] write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

(38) But if any man be ignorant, let him be… [“I’m not going to try to convert him”, said Paul.]

If you can’t understand vindication, you can’t understand anything! You haven’t got a clue to believing. Let’s prove it. In 1 Corinthians 1 Paul says, “There are divisions among you…

‘I’m of Paul, I’m of Peter, I’m of Christ.’ Was Paul baptized?” and so on, and so on. And right down the line.

31

Now, listen to him in the 2nd chapter:

1 Corinthians 2:1

(01) And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

“In other words, I’m telling you”, he said, “I didn’t come as a smart man, enabled to tell you the things that are good.” Apollos was a smart man; Apollos was a brilliant man. And Apollos was a hundred percent wrong in the sense he could not come to Christ.

He only came as far as John the Baptist. Now, here is this smart man had to be put straight. Paul, the apostle, was a smarter man. And he said, “Everything that I counted gain, I counted nothing but dung.”

Human manure… that’s all. Now, Paul comes. He admits he’s a wise man. He’s able to take the Word of God and teach it. Now he’s telling you that he has come, and how he’s come with a revelation which is backed up by God Himself.

1 Corinthians 2:2-5

(02) For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

(03) And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

(04) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power:

(05) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

32

So, let’s go to Romans 15:18 to 19. And Paul says:

Romans 15:18

(18) For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me…

He said, “I’m not going to tell you about Peter, James, and John and everybody else.” And Brother Branham said, “I’m not going to talk about Luther and Wesley, and all these other guys. I’ll mention them. But I’m going to go back and tell you how marvelous the same Pillar of Fire that brought the Word to Paul is here revealing it.

And He’s giving it to me, and I’m teaching you what you’re supposed to know.” And they say, “Lee Vayle can’t teach.” Brother Branham said I was a teacher. Maybe I’m a false teacher. Not according to him. Not when he compared me to him.

I’m not boasting; I’m just telling you, I standing of William Branham the servant of God and this Word, and I will die with it. Because I’ve got no place else to go! And as much as my mind or something would say, “Well listen, you’d better look around, son”, where am I going to look?

Tell me. I’m eighty-two years old and my wife’s eighty-two. We need help. Where am I going to look? And I just say one thing: you tell me where to look, I say, “Drop dead.” You’re already dead. If you can’t understand vindication, you understand nothing.

33

I don’t care how you talk or what you prayed about. Because Paul himself says here, he said, “I will not talk of anything done by Jesus Christ that wasn’t done through me.” “Oh, Brother Vayle, what a horrible thing!

Shouldn’t you tell all about Jesus and Galilee, this and that?” Oh, that fine, that’s fine! But He Himself is here in the Holy Spirit doing the same thing to the Gentiles He did back there. Let me talk about that, lest I crucify to myself the Son of God afresh.

Come-on, let’s do it. Want my good voice this morning, without coughing. I could shout and scream. I’ll have you running pretty soon. Then we’ll have all the Pentecostals saying, “Oh, Lee Vayle’s got converted. Hallelujah… ooh, he got the victory.” Ha-ha-ha.

Like Jimmy Swaggert… there’s a guy that fights me, down in South Africa, and he plays Jimmy Swaggart films all the time a deviant, a pervert. I don’t want him comparing me [him?] to me. Let him hear the films.

“Get away from that stuff”, the prophet said. Either go entirely hoochy-koochy and get away from God, or go entirely God and get away from the hoochy-koochy. Unh? Sure! We haven’t got the doctrines of devils yet. We’re never going to get there. Give me ten years to go.

Romans 15:19

(19) Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of… God [“in me”, said Paul]; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

So, Paul comes on the scene with all this condition, here, going on… it snuck into his church. And the Corinthian church is all mixed up. They haven’t got gifts under control. They’ve got false revelations. They think the resurrection is past.

They don’t understand the mystery of immortality. And they’re all mouthing off: “Well, I know what Peter said. I know what Apollos said…” And Paul said, “Do you know what I said? Because, what I said is the Word of God, period!”

And he said, “You people are in confusion. And you’d better get the gifts and those things under wraps, because they’re only complementary to the Word and they don’t take the place of the Word.”

And he said, “If you’re talking about ministries, then you look at me. I’m vindicated!”

34

In other words, “Everything that I said was preceded by THUS SAITH THE LORD, and God doing it. Now all you’ve got is signs coming out of the Word, like at Pentecost. All just coming out of the Word.

Because Jesus already said that in Mark 16, right? But what gave Jesus the authority to say it? Vindication! What gave Paul? What gave William Branham? Now, do you see why William Branham stood up and was counted and said, “I slept with him, I ate with him”?

Oh yeah, we knew him. Hey, hallelujah! Oh, glory to God.” “Oh”, said Philip… “I was around the mountain when he called me. Oh, yeah.” And Thomas said, “I doubt until I put my hand in his side.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I’m not making light; I’m just hitting it where it belongs to be hit. And I loved those men, the same as you do. Let me tell you something: they could not do what Paul did.

They never had what Paul had. And they can talk, “I’m Methodist, I’m Baptist. Hallelujah! I’m Pentecostal. I’m this and that.”

But William Branham comes on the scene: “Do you know who I am? I’m vindicated. I don’t care if you’re Methodist, you’re Baptist, your Presbyterian.

I don’t care if you’re Independent or what you are.” [And the Independents are worse than the dependent ones.] And he said, “I don’t care what it is. You look at me and my ministry.”

“Oh, Brother Vayle, that’s not looking at God.”

The same man said, “You’re looking at me, aren’t you?”

“Oh, that’s blasphemy!”

Yeah, you just blasphemed God. You’re right, you just blasphemed God.

35

Now, listen: those guys were having conferences down there. And Paul said they had a conference. He said, “What… they conferred about?”

I don’t care what they conferred about. He said, “They were held in honor and dignity.” He said, “Some… who cares!” Oh, this guy was meaner than a skunk! And you think I’m mean? Why, I’m just a little stand up comedian along side of Paul with his barbs.

I can’t prove nothing. William Branham stood there in Chicago and he said, “Here’s my Bible. I challenge you: there’s one God. And I’m not Jesus-only and I’m not Trinitarian. There’s one God. Come and stand beside me.”

Not one moved. He said, “You’re smarter than I thought you were.” That’s right on tape. He said, “Lee, if they had’ve moved, the first one coming they would have carried him out feet first.”

Because, the Pillar of Fire hung right there prophets of…  and Elijah. They were in conference, he said. Yeah, and Paul rose up and he said, “Listen, Peter, you’re a hypocrite. And you guys stand as hypocrites.”

And I wonder if they said… they didn’t. They were too smart. They caught on. They didn’t say, “Paul, you’re a big-mouth and a late-comer.

What do you know about Jesus, when we ate with him, we talked with him, we saw him in the resurrection. And you’ve just claimed a vision of a Pillar of Fire.”

36

You see, that’s why I don’t worry two-bits about visions. I’ve had them; you can have them. I want vindication. And I can’t get vindication on my own, you see, because I’m not a prophet. Lots of people have visions and dreams, and they prophesy from them.

But Moses, the servant of God, was not so. And Paul, the servant of God, was not so. And you get the tape that Brother Branham gave to me personally and Perry Greene took it and sent it all around the world on that tape you’ll find that Brother Branham placed himself with Moses and Paul. Right?

Come-on, if you’ve got the tape let’s get it. He said, “We haven’t had the same Pillar of Fire that came to Moses it came to Paul for two thousand years, until now.”

And the same, and Brother Branham also said, “When Moses was sent down to Egypt, God appeared with him in great signs and wonders. And not only so, but He Himself appeared in a Pillar of Fire upon Mt. Sinai. And so today, we’ve got His picture.”

And they tell me you can’t even find that on the computer. How come I read it? So, your computers are great, aren’t they? You can have them. I appreciate you giving me quotes when I want them. I thank you very much.

You’re nice mechanics. I love you. God bless you. But that ain’t going to do anybody… I’ve got the prophet. Here it is. Hey, man, hey! Come-on, man. You don’t cross that man right there.

And you never had the privilege of arguing four and a half hours like I did, either. When he tangled with Baxter on the evidence of the Holy Ghost being ‘love’, Baxter got so mad he threw the Bible plumb across the room, and walked out.

When I got through with Brother Branham and this is God’s truth he laid the Bible down and said, “You’ve got me.” We were both gotten. Because the evidence is not ‘love’, it’s ‘believing the Word for the hour’.

Just as soon as I got converted to Brother Branham’s wrong doctrine on love being the evidence, God comes along and says, “William Branham, you’re wrong. Love is not the evidence. It’s believing the Word for the hour.”

So, when Brother Branham said that, my heart leapt for joy and I knew it was right.

37

And how did I know it was right? Suddenly, going down the road, I said, “Hey, my God, what goes on here?” I rejoiced… shout for joy and say, “He’s right!” Where’s the Word for it? And like a sarcastic voice said, “The Bible’s full of it. Why don’t you look for

it?” And I got so tickled I could have laughed out loud. Because that’s just Lee Vayle, all over again. You meet God in sarcasm; He’ll be sarcastic with you. I’m a sarcastic guy. I don’t mean to be really rude and rotten.

You know, I just can’t help it. So the voice said, “Why don’t you read your Bible for it?” And I got so excited I said, “I’ll just do that.” The Bible is full of it. You’ve got to believe in it. If you don’t believe in it, you ain’t gonna get it.

And if you don’t get it from Brother Branham teaching you what God told him, there’s no revelation. But you’ve got to teach, believing there will be a revelation.

But they want to cut you off and say, “Well, men like Brother Vayle, they’re dangerous. They’re this, they’re that.” You bet I’m a danger to the kingdom of hell; you bet your sweet life. And I hope I despoil it.

But I’ve got no grandiose ideas, don’t worry. If I just spit on a little bit of the fire, it’s okay. Yeah… it’s okay.

38

So, here’s your Corinthian church today, in a complete muddle. A woman says, “I’m Methodist.” When Brother Branham went to pray for a certain woman in a hospital, she said, “Pull the curtain! I’m Methodist.”

Brother Branham hoped she’d be a Christian. [See?] A nurse in a Catholic hospital thirty years ago [better than thirty, maybe forty years ago], they called me in to pray for a boy in a coma. I didn’t know if I could reach him or not.

But I prayed. And an old guy laid in the bed next door to me… next door, in a stroke and [he said],

“Preacher, can you pray for me, too?”

I said, “Sure, Pop. What’s your trouble?”

“Got a stroke in my arm, can’t raise it.”

“Oh”, I said, “That’s not too bad. Let’s pray.”

So I prayed. I said, “Raise it.” He took… I said, “No, no, no! Don’t lift it. I said, ‘Raise it’.” He raised it. Couldn’t do it before. The nurse came in. He was so happy, he said,

“Nurse, I can raise my arm. Look! My arm.” He said, “Isn’t that nice? He prayed for me.”

Now why would a nurse, if she’s a nurse, be mad if the man got healed? Medicine couldn’t do it. Nothing… the poor old boy needed help! I didn’t even know God was going to do it. I just trusted Him best I could, and he got healed. They don’t want that. They… nobody wants vindication.

39

Now listen, the thing is now, watch carefully this Corinthian church knew the signs that followed the Word. Right? Let’s go over it again. Jesus vindicated. He said, “Do not be aggrieved, because when I go away I do it for your good.

I will send you the Comforter. And if I do not go away, I cannot send you the Comforter. But when the Comforter comes, He’ll lead you into all truth and show you things to come,”… and so on and so on. Is that true?

All right. Jesus Himself said, “Now go to all the world and preach the Gospel. And he that believeth on me, he shall do all these signs: speak in new tongues, take up serpents, cast out devils, heal the sick”, and so on. Is that right?

That’s what he said. Those are signs that followed the Word of Jesus. Is that right? But before He ever said it, the Book of Acts said, “He began to do and to teach.” He proved by vindication he was that Prophet.

And therefore His Word was substantiated by the fact of what He did. Now, the apostles did not have that! Listen, bless God, show me… take your Bibles and show me! You don’t believe your Bibles, do you?

Oh, the Baptists, they all talk big. Pentecost all talk, “Bible, Bible, Bible, Bible, Bible.” Now, show me! Unh? Well, come-on, show me. That wasn’t Paul. Paul said, “I didn’t open my mouth without vindication.” Unh? Unh?

“Oh, he’s a jolly good fellow, he’s a jolly good fellow”. And that’s all he really is, because the Pentecostals can do the same thing. Unh? I like to sing at times. I don’t sing very well. It’s not very inspiring but it gets to the point, doesn’t it?

He is not a ‘jolly good fellow’. And the Pentecostals can’t do it.

40

And William Branham came on the scene as one born out of due season, exactly like the apostle Paul. And here was a Pentecostal Corinthian church with the gifts in disorder everything in disorder and he stood before them and he said, “I alone have the right to do it, even as Paul.” Paul started a brand new church in Corinth!

Well, did he? [Someone in the congregation says, “Yes, he did.”] Thank you. I like you to be silent, because I don’t like a lot of noise when I teach. I’ll make all the noise up here. Then you go out the door screaming.

Fair enough. Paul said, “I laid the foundation! I did it. I did it by vindication. And the vindicated Word that I preached gave the foundation, and no other foundation can anybody lay than is laid, which is Jesus Christ the Righteous.”

And Peter said He was the Cornerstone put at naught. Now He’s the Capstone. And the Cornerstone was in the platform, as part of the complete building, before God turned exclusively to the Gentiles, with maybe a few Jews coming in.

And Paul came on the scene and he absolutely started a church. He started a Bride church. And William Branham came on the scene in this Pentecostal era. And in 1955 when those five stars or planets came into what they call ‘confluence’…

I believe that’s the word. Who’s a scientist? Who knows anything? Peter, do you remember those things? Well, anyway, somebody here has got to know about them. They came into confluence . The Hindus said, “Oh, the world is going to end.”

And somebody said, “This is going to happen.” And Brother Branham said, “A virgin-Bride is born.” Unh? “Oh, Brother Branham, I’ve heard you say a lot of strange things, but that I can’t take.” I said that about the rapture. Then, I suddenly said, “Well, where was he ever wrong?”

41

So, in 1955… is that the date? Can any of you remember? Or is it ’56 or ’55? I think it was ’55. So, a virgin, a little baby Bride, who could not be seduced, who could not be trammeled with, not touched, is born. And it’s 1996 now.

I’m not talking about dates I don’t understand. I know the Jews had grace under 555, the number of grace, when they were declared free and a nation. I know when Rome signed the détente with the Jews, was 666 that’s the number of man.

It’s only too evident, what’s going on. But there’s a virgin-Bride born in the Laodicean church age and Ephesus has returned.

Why? Because the Spirit has come back, as it was in the beginning. This time not to talk about the death of Jesus Christ although that’s true, that never fades not to talk about the Blood, as though it’s a brand new message.

No, it’s a message with the errors corrected. And the Blood is there. And it’s all there.

But they don’t understand Ephesians 1:17 which is at the time that the baptism with the Holy Ghost runs out, and Jehovah-Elohim Himself comes down to reveal Himself and the vindicated Word by the apostle William Branham.

And he never came preaching Luther, Wesley, Martin or any of them… although he recognized them. Paul recognized those men, too, but how could William Branham recognize them as authorities when he knew they were reformers?

“Oh”, they said, “They’re not reformers. Brother Branham, you take too big a slice upon yourself of the cake.” He was the whole cake at the end-time, the same as Paul was. See? Even John didn’t know what William Branham knew, because he couldn’t have it. He was just a scribe.

42

So, now we have all the strange doctrines that they had in the beginning. You have life and death. You have the two spirits so close that there’s a razor-blade difference. And only the elect cannot be deceived.

And you have all of those with signs and wonders that follow the Word. And they’re out there, and they’re going to come at the end-time at the White Throne. And He’s going to say, “I never knew you.”

And this is why it blows my mind that so many people say they believe Brother Branham are following people like Shelly and Reagan, and all these guys. Yes, I’ll mention their names. You bet your sweet life I’ll mention their names.

They’re following them. And they have the most ridiculous stupid things I’ve ever heard or seen in my life! Like when Parker Thomas turned on Brother Branham and his little son got drowned and the little daughter, she thought she was responsible.

And a spirit took hold of her, and they had the little girl up there with somebody else. And it was supposed to be dealing with spirits and talking this, and discerning.

And I said, “This is the poorest exhibition of anything I’ve ever seen. Why don’t you get connected with some good ghosts… that can do something?” Oh, they loved out the door.

Never went back. Why should I go to the place of women preachers and all that junk? Brother Branham said, “Stay away from that stuff.” And they’re running to it.

And these guys can’t even prophesy. A guy down here in Tennessee goes down to this guy Reagan’s church. Dave… was there… Dave will tell you.

Sat there, and the guy said, “Well listen, if I don’t prophesy correctly don’t wash out. Don’t get mad. How many times did Babe Ruth go to the bat to get a home run?” Now, we’ve got a ball game going!

We need Andy Griffith back to make some fun about a ball game, like a foot-ball game. Or Abbot and Costello Who’s on First? I wonder… “Here, don’t call me out because I flunked the test.”

I want to ask you: Brother Branham said, “Pray that spirit off you.” They don’t even know they’ve got a devil. Didn’t Paul warn Timothy about seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils? Well, you see, that’s the whole thing.

43

So, there’s the picture I’ve been trying to get to you. And I know I should have had explicit notes, but you’ve got enough understanding by the Scripture that I read, that Paul was not original down there in Corinth.

The man that went down Peter, the wonderful man of God I don’t sell him short. I wish I had in my whole body what he had in the end of his little finger. But he wasn’t the one! And it wasn’t Peter’s fault they went that way. It wasn’t.

They went that way. And Paul came in and he started a brand new church. He went to some Jews. And from the Jews he had to go to the Gentiles. And this was a brand new church.

But the other folk around say, “Well, we speak in tongues, and we’ve got this, and we’ve got that. And the whole church was infiltrated, until there was just confusion. And Paul had to take them back to what constitutes an authority with the church from God, which is a vindicated apostle… prophet. They didn’t take it.

And the Pentecostal church did not take it from William Branham. They said, “We’ve got it; we’ve got it; we’ve got it. We don’t look to anybody, bless God, because you see, when we got the Holy Ghost there was really nobody there even knowing it was going to fall.

He just fell like at Corinth.” Oh, they love that! They love that. “We don’t have a messenger. We don’t have anybody. We get together. Oh, yeah. Wasn’t that nice.” Yeah, wasn’t that nice.

What if everybody in the… well, look at the woman in the Pentecostal meeting… I often say these things, but I know about it, she was praying and suddenly she has this so-called vision, and sees Jesus is going down the isles with a basket, and he’s trying to hand people gifts, and they’re ignoring the gifts.

What a beautiful picture for Pentecost, “Oh, you’re ignoring the gifts.” What about the Giver? Unh? I want to know. Yeah.

44

That’s why these young gals married all these stupid old men in America where they’ve got millions of dollars. And they’d get rid of the old frau that they had because they wanted to renew their youth and get a young gal.

And so they left all the money. What did the young gals do? They began having a great time with the young bucks. Putting their money up. How many husbands did Doris… have?

I don’t know. Count ‘em. Look at your women. They can’t cease from adultery. The Bible says so. Just like… The church is full of it.

The church is [an] adultering house of prostitution. The more I study Brother Branham, the more I realize that Eve was just exactly what he said she was.

I don’t want to hurt sisters’ feelings or brothers’ feelings, because I’m going to tell you, “there is neither male nor female in Christ.” If you’re a child of God, you’re a born-one. And you’re not a male. You’re not a female.

You’re a child of God. Your sex doesn’t have a thing to do with it, except in a ministry of an office, which God ordained. Remember, there is a natural election, as well as a spiritual… don’t ever forget.

45

So, Brother Branham comes on the scene. He wants to establish an Ephesian church. And he knows, like Paul, that the other churches they’re impregnated in their minds with the wrong doctrine.

Paul said, “You’ve taken a seducing doctrine, a seducing devil. You’ve got a wrong doctrine.” Imagine them saying, “The resurrection’s over!”

A fellow came all the way from Tucson to see me. He said, “Brother Vayle, I’ve got to ask you face to face.”

“What is it?”

He said, “Do you believe the resurrection’s over?”

I said, “How can it be, I’m still here.”

You know… well, they answer, “Answer a fool in his folly.” He’s a nice guy, but he was all wet.

How much time have we got? How many? Six… not sixty? Thank you. Well, look-it. Long as you get the picture, that we have come full swing from Alpha to Omega. Everything in this Bible, the seven churches there, showed a seed.

And they all had the same seed. But it was manifested in a different way in each one of these churches. And I’ll show you by the word ‘discrepancy’, how Brother Branham chose the right word and how the word ‘different’ is different from the word ‘differently’.

And I go to my Bible, and I can show you. Because, you see, the only difference between us and anything else in the animal world is the ability to speak based upon the ability to reason.

We don’t go by instincts. If we do, we’re dead. We must go by the pure Word of God. And there is a Bride that has to know that Word or how can she go by it? If you are going to be a Christian to go like Christ, which means that you then walk with Christ, and He is the Word, how can you ever say, “I am a Christian”, without being in the vindicated Word?

See, you’re lying. It’s pseudo. The Roman Catholic church opened its door to deception. The Pope, as I told you, doesn’t like it, but he still does it. So, when you go to Haiti, you embrace the witch doctor and say, “Well, we both have the same spirit.” Which, I believe, is a hundred percent true.

46

Now, what’s coming at the end-time? The word ‘Allah’ is supposed to mean God. It was the name of a devil, and they put it the name of God. Now, if these Arabs are of the children of Shem, and they are Semites, how come they don’t say Jehovah-Elohim, or Jehovah or Elohim?

Why is it ‘Allah’? Now, the Pope will accommodate them. And he’ll say, “Oh well, Allah’s just another name for Jehovah. Hallelujah, amen, glory to God, we’re brothers.” And he’s right; they are brothers. So they’ll all come into Rome.

Everybody’s happy. “Even Confucius say Oh, he was brilliant. He said some very clever things. So, you know, we could go by Confucius. Come on in.” And then when the trap is sprung they’re going to worship the devil.

And just a few people won’t do it, because they know better. Now, how did they know better when the rest are natural brute beasts? Could they be the foolish virgin? In my books that’s all they could be. Because “a virgin’s a virgin”, as Brother Branham said.

So, here we are at the end-time, and I hope you’re beginning to see very distinctly what I see. Because, as I told you the other day, Brother Branham spent eighty percent and I spend the same time on vindication, the Presence of God.

Here He is; there’s His picture Elohim came down. Jesus is up there on the Throne waiting to descend. We meet him in the air at the great incarnation Wedding Supper. See, he’s not here… not the Lamb here. No, no, no, no, no!

The Lamb is not here. Elohim is here. And He’s still here. I don’t know where He is, but He’s here, heading the Church the Capstone spiritually, to raise the dead and take us out of here. And to fulfill the Word of God, the great mystery: “Behold I show the mystery. We’ll not all sleep; we’ll all be changed”…

That goes back to Ephesians. That goes to William Branham, telling us how it’s done. That goes to Paul, the renewing of the mind. William Branham said, “The Bride’s mind is now pregnated. Not another word can come in.”

Ready to produce Christ. The church cannot do it; it can’t do it. The perfect ministry showed it was God Himself giving us the Living Word. And nothing outside this Message lives, therefore we shall live.

We’re like resurrected Word at the last day. The whole thing falling in line. That’s what I’ve wanted to show you for these two Sundays. And I hope we’ve got a little bit more knowledge than last Sunday. I, you know…

I go home and I’ll begin thinking this over and say, “Hey, I should have said this; I should have said that.” I’m sorry I didn’t say what I didn’t say. But time has run out…  we get together again, the Lord knows… I don’t know if we get together again because, as I say, my time especially, has run out.

We’ll go back to discrepancy on page 27, and we’ll stay where Brother Branham said, “And so tonight, in the days we’ve got this great discrepancy”… and we’ll hit that word again and go on reading.

And by the grace of God we just may finish the Seed of Discrepancy before either He comes or I die or we all die, or whatever is going to happen. Right? Amen. Let’s rise and be dismissed.

Merciful Heavenly Father, we count it a privilege to be here with Your people and Your Presence, O God. And going over the Word which we see and believe, that this is the Omega of the Alpha.

And truly, Lord, it must be the Omega of the Alpha, because the seven seals have been opened, the seven thunders have uttered, and Brother Branham did tell us, and it has to be by vindication because in no way he could do it otherwise.

He said, “Everything we need to put us in the rapture, we already have.” And Lord, I’m so happy that he said that because that means one thing: if we’ve got what it takes, then he can come back upon earth and stand with us, and we’ll all go together the seven church age Bride ascend unto the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.

And there, that One in our midst will be incarnated to us, and we will crown Him King of kings and Lord of all. And that will be Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

That will be the Son of man, the Son of God, the Son of David, the Lily of the Valley, the Rose of Sharon, the Altogether Lovely.

That will be Jehovah-Elohim once more in flesh, with all of His beautiful Bride, waiting now for the others to come up in the second resurrection and we all go away to the Holy City which is ordained for us in due time.

Now, unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only-wise God be all power, honor and glory, through Jesus Christ, our Blessed Savior. Amen.

‘Take the Name of Jesus with you.’
