Day Star: Identified Word Received#1889
Shall we pray.
Heavenly Father we’re very grateful to be allowed to come into this little place of assembly that You’ve provided for us, Lord, to fellowship with You, around the Word, Father, and to recognize Your Presence.
And above all, hopefully, that we’ll begin to understand more of our relationship with You, which is so varied and multifaceted. We talk about You as Judge, and yet we know You did not really act as Judge when it came to us, it really was the great Avenger, vindicating a Bride.
And we’re thankful for that, Lord, but also You’ve brought us the understanding that we’re Bride, and the prophet said, “I don’t call you church or saints anymore, I call you Bride.”
These things, Lord, mean so much and we are so far from really understanding them, in the sense of the full appreciation of revelation, but we know, at least we think we know, that if we receive the Word, the true mechanical Word, the reality of what really was said, we believe, Lord,
that somehow there is a life in us and in that Word that gets together, that causes us to understand and appreciate and identify, and go on in this respect toward You, which is a true respect and a true humility, growing up in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, like He Himself grew in knowledge and favor with God and man,
Who is now our Head, and become an example as well as the great Authority and the great Redeemer. All of these things, Lord, are here, and we want to be able to place them in a true knowledge. And then, Lord, by that knowledge which is set on fire by the life within us, bring forth what You have in Your mind.
And we appreciate the fact that at least we can say these things, and yet say with the prophet, if we’re not Bride there’s a Bride out there somewhere, and by the grace of God, we won’t stand in her way. But we’ll stand with her, rejoicing at least as friends and part of the great reception. Help us this morning, therefore, in this Word, as we have already asked.
In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Now, we’re into number twelve of Shalom. What happened, I didn’t actually count the two messages down at Brother Bran… Bell’s as part of it. What it was, I inadvertently wrote down from my notes a wrong number, so I started with the wrong number, which was two jumps ahead, and now I’m back.
Well, the thing is, if you jump in the wrong direction, you jump back to the right direction. So I think we’re on number twelve, right? Number twelve, Shalom.
All right, at this point of our reading, which we’ve been reading Shalom, Brother Branham says that he’s been speaking of darkness pressing upon the church, but now he wishes to speak Peace to the church, as he delineates upon the light.
However, as we progress we will notice that he does not actually leave off commenting on the darkness, he continues to do so even as he spoke of the light, when he dwelt in-depth with the darkness.
So you’re not going to hear him suddenly cut off, he’s going to keep talking of darkness in contradistinction to light, but the emphasis will be more upon the light then the darkness, which darkness has been established upon the world churches, with their creeds and their dogmas, getting away of course, when Eve begin to…
you know the Eve of the church, of the first age, we call her Eve, also began to go off that Word, one at a time.
So we’re going to go back and sort of recap this, by looking at page 19, and beginning at 110. And it says here,
[110] But the Elected, what about the Light now? I’ve been talking so much on the dark, and I got half my time used up, eleven-thirty already. Now, let’s turn it back around; gross darkness is upon the people, [but] now what about the Light? He said gross darkness would be upon the people, but there would be Light, [for he says in Isaiah,]
“Rise, and shine, for the Light has come.” How can there be darkness and Light, it’s got to be separated. And only one thing separates it, the Word manifested, separates.
Okay, let’s just check that out on page… page what? Thirteen. And always it happens the wrong page gets stuck. Page 13, and paragraph 70. Let’s get the picture here before we continue with what he says. He says in paragraph 70,
[70] That sun is the Word of God. In the beginning, God said, “Let there be light.” And when the Word of God was manifested, there was light. First, God spoke it. What if it didn’t manifest? Then it wasn’t light yet. But when He spoke it, and then it was manifested, or vindicated, His Word was vindicated, light came into existence.
In other words, whatever God said in His Word, might not have been manifested at the time it was said, but down the road it somewhere it would be manifested, and that manifested Word which can only be manifested through vindication, to show it’s the right Word, is Light.
It’s just what the Apostle Paul said, “That which manifests is light.” In other words, light itself, the word ‘phose’, light, we get the word phosphorous, the light itself is something which you see manifested. And it doesn’t need to be a light itself. It can be anything whatsoever.
Like for instance, let’s say it’s manifested that, you know, you get to close to the dog Don had that experience. Dog bit him! That was certainly light on that problem don’t get near to a dog. Don’t get near to that dog.
So what you see, what we’re talking about here, is any particular thing or portion of scripture, as Brother Branham said, “God’s His Own interpreter, God’s His Own bringer of light, He makes manifest.”
And that’s the interpretation. So always keep that in mind. Don’t get carried away with something that is insightful, as far as you are concerned. You see, that’s a big danger in this church and in every church, it’s a great danger for me.
To attempt to try to become insightful concerning something which is not based upon insight! See, that’s not insight! Now you may think it is. But it’s not. That’s an actual photograph of a prophet with a Pillar of Fire over his head, and the prophet does not become insightful as though he is going to tell us on his own what it is, he tells us what it is because God told him what it was!
And it’s not a matter of being insightful, if you understand what I’m saying. It’s a matter of an absolute perfect proof, concrete solid reality. See that’s what we’re looking at, so never get carried away with some little thing that you think, “Well, will it go here? Will this go there?” No!
There is no longer any position to be taken of where there is a side road with this message, or you will go to hell! I’m sorry, but you are bound for the Lake of Fire, and I’m not tough to anybody, I’m just telling you the truth. Because that’s what happened in the Garden of Eden.
She got insightful by Satan, you know, titillating her mind. And there was no room to be titillated. It’s a pure case of seduction, and thereby manipulation. So he says here, “And there’s Light and darkness.” He said, “They’re not going to mingle and be together.”
They’ve been separating ever since the dark ages when the light begin to come through Luther, it began to separate, under Wesley it was more, under Pentecost it was more, and at this hour, there has got to be a restitution and a restoration. Do you follow? So he said here,
[110] “Rise, and shine, for the Light has come.” To dispel the darkness. How can there be darkness and Light? Why, he said, it’s got to be separated. It’s got to be separated. Because there’s going to be both. See?
Now, he said at one time, under the mixture, it was okay to be baptized in ‘Father, Son, and Holy Ghost’, okay to join a church, okay to go through a lot of things, God honored that little bit of light coming, as long as that light was there God honored it.
Because the seed caught it, the Holy Ghost fell upon it, and that person is born again. But what happened to Luther? Died. Wesley? Died. Pentecost is nothing but chaff. Now that’s a terrible thing to say if it’s not true, but we’re going to find it is true.
Heard a radio broadcast yesterday, four major missionary broadcasting societies now cover the whole world. Now, let’s suppose, we know, we don’t have to suppose, but let us suppose, that they have taken a false gospel to the world. See? What about it?
The world, my brother/sister, dumped, how many thousands of tons of grapes, because they found two little grapes with puncture holes of cyanide that would hardly kill a flea, let alone a human being.
Would to God the church took that attitude. Death in the pot. What if they are taking a false gospel? What if they are preaching a false Christ? What if the Holy Ghost isn’t there? Just vain. Just vain. How many got in the ark? How can there be darkness and Light, it’s got to be separated.
Now Who’s the great Separator? Who’s going to do it? Well, Who in the world separated the first light and darkness? Jehovah! Elohim! God did it! Then Who will separate all light and darkness? God will do it! How’s He going to do it?
The way He’s always done it. Let there be. Now the point is, after God Himself instituted it, there came a time, when man decided he didn’t want God to institute His Own program with them on mass, or as people, so they said, “God, You talk to one person.
And that will take care of the whole thing.” God said, “That I’ll do.” Then God added. He added His Own Word because He knew that the people would still kick their heels up. And they would still say, “Oh, well, just a minute now, we don’t know if you’re the one that is supposed to bring us the Word.”
Even under vindication of Moses, Korah, Dathan, and Abiram said, “Listen, we’re all holy, bless God, you’re aren’t the only one that’s got a priesthood, Moses, let’s get this flat, we can prophesy, we’ve got something to add,” and Moses stood right there with God, not with Moses himself, don’t ever think for one moment that Moses was jealous for himself, he said,
“Would God all the people were prophets and all prophesied,” but he said, “Lord God, if they change one word of Your program, that You said one man at one time brings the Word of God,” he said, “then,” he said, “listen, You do something about it, now.” And God said, “Separate the people.” And He took those families, and He destroyed them right there on the spot.
Now this is Exodus, brother/sister. And that was merely a taste of what was going on. Because everybody over twenty, except two people, Caleb and Joshua, wandered in the wilderness till they died, because they didn’t know how God separated light from darkness, and I’m standing with the vindicated prophet.
You do what you want but I want to tell you, Gnosticism was back there before Jesus, Gnosticism was there with Jesus, Paul fought Gnosticism, Irenaeus fought Gnosticism, we’ve got Gnosticism right today, where men think they have something from an insight! I don’t think they even make it. As people try to make this Word say, a heathen doctrine.
Where God Almighty, unknown, male or female, created a lesser creature. Who then in turn dealt with all materiality. You cannot change the fact of God in Christ doing all things, the original God! Whether done through the Son, or done through a man, done through any way, God will do it as Jesus Himself said, “The Father in Me doeth the works!”
God was in Christ reconciling, when was it ever changed, the one mighty God? Your insight isn’t worth a plug nickel. My insight isn’t worth a plug nickel. It’s only whether it’s a vindicated message preached by a vindicated prophet, that alone will separate the light from the darkness, and as Brother Branham categorically said,
what went on in the middle didn’t matter so much, which was a hundred percent true, it’s what’s at both ends because Alpha is Omega, and grace will carry you over until the juncture periods, but every time there’s a juncture period, as there was with Paul, and with Moses, with William Branham, you don’t dare move from the ‘Thus Saith The Lord’ and the Word of God made critical to you.
And the reason I say it was critical, because it is the great critique. You and I are not. We have nothing to give but our minds, to the Word of God.
Now he said,
[110] And only one thing separates light from darkness, the Word manifested, separates.
In other words, there must be something dynamically, not just hopefully, but dynamically vindicated. And Brother Branham would say, “Of the thousands of times I said ‘Thus Saith The Lord,’ tell me one time it failed!” You couldn’t do it.
Well people might say, “Well you see, Brother Branham wasn’t on the scene long enough. Might have been just five minutes after he died, he could have boo-booed.” Well you know I think that’s pretty stupid. That’s worse than the Pharisees who said, “Give us a sign,” when He already gave them all kinds of signs, and He just rebuked them flat. See?
All right.
[110] It presses it, [that’s light presses,] the manifested Word which is light. The vindicated Word, which is Light, literally presses against the darkness.
[Now he said,] Here’s the darkness on the earth, but when the manifested Word of God, the sun, which it was spoken into existence by the Word, shows itself, darkness runs to the other side. The other side of the world. See? And that’s what’s taking place now, darkness separating itself from the Light.
How? By the light pressing it! The light is forcing a separation. The darkness takes the challenge, and separates! Could you take the challenge this morning to let the light come in? It’s up to you and me entirely, it’s not up to someone else, see?
Now, remember in the days of Jesus, all but twelve, and one of those was the devil, separated over the truth. When He began to press. Always the light forces the issue and causes division. You notice that? Luther had light, it caused a division.
Way back in the Dark Ages, the Catholic church, there was St. Francis of Assisi There were other men of God in there, don’t think the Catholic church didn’t have born again people. It absolutely had many, many. They protested the Catholic Church with what light they had. And I’ll tell you, every single time the light comes on the scene, it causes a separation. Otherwise, tell me why you would separate?
In other words, the big trouble in the home of marriages, two minds will not function as one together. One mind comes up with something, the female mind may say no. She may come up with something, the male mind may say no. It causes a division. Always it must take a thought, which is a concept, perhaps untried, but always the mind will cause division.
You say, “Well I think sickness does.” No! It’s what the mind does about the sickness. You say, “It’s money.” No, it’s what the mind does about money. You say, “It’s children.” No, it’s what the mind does about the children. Always the intrusion of thought will cause division. See?
Now, it was the intrusion of darkness against the light, that caused the separation back in the Garden of Eden, which sent a trend, the darkness upon minds, man’s mind, and ever since then, the light comes, causing an intrusion, and instantly Satan organizes his forces by way of the mind. See?
Oh yes, they organized, every single time. What brought on the great problem in Luther’s day? Zwingli and Huss, already were on, had opened up the Word of God, were helping people. So what happened? Organizational Catholicism brought about the Jesuits, which brought about the Inquisition.
And the Catholics will never live it down, they try to live it down, they lie it down! They’re liars from the word go. Their theologian now try to say, “You Protestants killed us, we didn’t kill you.”
When they know on St. Valentines day, they killed thousands and thousands of Huguenots, and they know when the Huguenots left France, France died as a nation! England took on the revolution where the people began to prosper, go down to Mexico where the Catholics are, you’ll see every single time they’re darkness, they’re heathenism!
Now Protestantism is no different. We in America supposed to be Protestants, vote in a Roman Catholic, showed them down there, why send missionaries?
There’s nothing from America to send, they’ve made the image to the beast. Don’t ever get fooled because great efforts out there say, “Doesn’t it sound good?”
And Brother Branham said, “I’ll join hands with any man that’s out there trying to win souls.” That sounds very good, but when did he do it? It’s a nice motto, it’s a nice feeling, it’s a good attitude, not as though we knew everything.
But I’m going to tell you brother/sister, when one thing is, at least we’ve got some kind of vindication! Show me anybody else that’s got any. They haven’t got it. And I’m going to tell you this, there may thousands and thousands of… you know, bundles of Confederate money out there, it’s not worth a plug nickel, the paper it’s written on.
I’d sooner have, now I haven’t got a silver coin in my pocket today, but I’ll tell you, when the chips are down, I would sooner have a silver quarter, then ten million dollars of paper money. ‘Cause my silver quarter could be worth as much as… how many dollars… in inflated money? It could be worth billions of dollars in inflated money. Don’t settle for what’s going on out in the world there.
Now listen. Light always forces the issue and causes division. Look over in Matthew 24. Let’s just take a picture. He said, “Beware of false prophets.” He said that back in about the 7th chapter. “They come to you in sheep clothing, they’re ravening wolves.” Then He said the sign of the time was false prophets.
Those men that bring a wrong Word, absolutely. And it says they show great signs and wonders. And then it says they’ll tell you the wrong thing. Now watch, verse 27,
(27) For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth [to] the west; [even] so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
(28) For wheresoever the carcass is [that’s Ptoma… Ptomaine poisoning!] the [dirty] eagles [will] be gathered.
Separated! The light separates them. Remember, the tares are bundled together for the burning before the Bride is taken away. Light separates. And it says over here, then comes a great depression, the great Tribulation. Then it says over here, it’s going to be like the days of Noah. Then verse 40,
(40) Two in the field; one taken, [one] left.
You can see the positive separation that the Word of God causes. Just as light separates the darkness and causes the darkness to go back. Now, to the elected church in this dark hour… Wish, we could stay on that for hours, but I think I’ve said enough till we understand what the Scripture means, when I said, “gross darkness upon the people.”
[111] Now, I say to the church, “Shalom. God’s peace.” Peace! Every true Hebrew, when he meets another one, says “Shalom.” [In] other words, “Good morning! God be with you! God’s peace go with you! It’s a “Good morning! How do you do?” It’s breaking day, church. It’s darkness upon the people. But it’s “Good morning” to the church, Christ is appearing amongst us. “Shalom. Peace.” Hallelujah. “Shalom.”
Now what? Look at this here. He says it’s darkness upon the people. Alright, let’s just stop a second. One billion so-called Christians out of over five billion people. We’ve got a billion Mohammedans, just to start with. And people in America so disillusioned are turning to Mohammedism.
They’re a hundred percent wrong! They haven’t got a clue; they have no savior, no anything, trusting in a dead man. What about the heathen? What about other religions? They’ve already been in darkness, they never had any light! So we’ve got four billion people and more, out of five billion and more, who don’t have any light, period!
The stupidity of a sophisticated mind, who indulge themselves in their own thinking, as though that makes God. Now you’ve got the Christian church so-called! How many of them have got the light today? Darkness upon all the people. Gross darkness is getting worse by the hour.
Now Brother Branham said, “Darkness is upon the people” over five billion people in total darkness. But at this particular time, Christ is appearing amongst us, he said so. Shalom means that Christ is appearing amongst us. This is why Brother Branham said, “My ministry is to declare that He is here:
To declare the Presence, to declare the Appearing, because if He isn’t here, [Points to the picture of the Pillar of Fire on the wall] how can He appear? How’d He get that photograph taken? What is this over here? Say, “Well I think that merely is somebody putting their own idea to it.”
Well, that’s probably fine if you want to be that way. But my understanding is this is 1 Thessalonians 4:16, that ‘the Lord Himself descended with a Shout.’ And remember, Paul is talking to the Bride!
Let’s go back and take a look at it, just for a second, because you can never refresh your mind too much on these great truths. Now evidently they were in a quandary. And they said, “What about the literal coming of the resurrection, the Lord Jesus Christ, and we ourselves, and all these things?”
Now he said,
(13) [Brethren] I would not have you ignorant, concerning them which are asleep, that [you] sorrow not, as others which have no hope.
(14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him [that’s bring forth with him].
(15) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord [in other words, ‘Thus Saith The Lord’], that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not [take any precedence or preeminence whatsoever over] them which are asleep. [We will not hinder them, and we’ll have no precedence over them. Now listen, why is it that way?]
(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
God Himself is going to come on the scene. God Himself is going to do it. And remember, no man knew the day or the hour the Appearing would take place. No man knew about these things. They knew it would happen, but they didn’t know the hour. See?
(16) …with the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; [Now that’s telling you how they’re going to get out of here.]
(17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Now, if you swing back to… I think it’s… find it over here for you. It said meet the Lord in the air. Philippians 2nd chapter verse 11.
(11) That every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
So you’ll notice in there, we’ve got Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father, they’re two separate individuals. The Messiah’s the Lord. He’s the One that God incarnated Himself in, and will yet incarnate Himself in.
All right. Paragraph 112.
[112] When we see darkness settling, darkness just before day, [now listen, this is not just a darkness through two thousand years, this is a darkness that comes at a specific period, which is just before daybreak. And remember the daybreak must be the Millennium. Because the two days are already gone. We’ll soon be into the third. Alright.]
We see darkness settling, darkness just before day, we know that the morning star is hanging yonder to introduce the coming sun. [Now Brother Branham really should] say, when we see darkness settling, darkness just before the day [dawn, or daylight.]
We know that the morning star is hanging yonder to introduce the coming sun. [Now watch his language.] That’s when the morning star shines. It’s the going-between. [Something in-between. The actual coming of the sun, there is a light, and that light is in the morning star.]
It’s always darkest just a few minutes before day, the blackout comes, that’s the worst, the moon fails to shine. The darkest before day, is because the light is pressing the darkness.
Now he tells you that. And so therefore, if light is pressing the darkness, and it makes it darker, and every single age has that pressure because of light, and remember how the Catholics came upon the Protestants to destroy them, Lutherans jumped all over the Wesleyans,
and if you were young in my day, and I was a kid, you should have heard the Methodism, which takes in Seventh Day Adventism, Pente… Nazarenes, Church of God, all of those people, you should have seen how they jumped on the Pentecostals. And each time they got darker.
That’s why there’s no such thing, as even going near a Missionary Alliance Church, they blasphemed the Holy Ghost years ago. And they’re still blaspheming. They’re dead! Nazarenes making love to a corpse. They don’t have a thing. Baptists don’t have a thing.
There’s no way you can reconcile the Word of God with what goes on in the world out there, it just isn’t there, darkness. And darkness is pressing. And it’s going to get worse at the end time, according to Brother Branham.
Now watch.
[112] But the morning star comes out and says, “Good morning.” [Or] “Shalom.”
Now remember, this is something between the sun and darkness. It’s an intermediary light. Well did he say it, or didn’t he say it? Now what am I to believe? What he said, or what he… or just say, “Well, he’s just talking up a… you know… a storm. He’s a wordy kind of a guy. Very verbal, very demonstrative, so he just shoots his mouth off.”
In other words, there’s a light before there’s a light. There’s a light before The light. Evidently. Evidently. We can go two ways on this now, you can take God as the sun, you can take God as the Word. You can take; rather, light as the Word, I beg your pardon. Let’s stick with Light as the Word.
Then there’s going to be a light, that points to the light. Right? Then there’s going to be that something in the next phase, pointing to that light that brings the Light, which is the Lord.
Okay, let’s go to 1 Peter. Let’s see, 2 Peter I believe it is, yeah 2 Peter. They’re both on the coming of the Lord, but this is what I guess I want. First chapter, beginning at verse 15.
(15) Moreover I will endeavor that [you] may be able after my decease [when I am dead] to have these things always in remembrance.
(16) For [you] have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and [the Presence] of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
Now they were there as apostles, and they were there on the Mount of Transfiguration. They saw Him, evidently, proven to be the Son of God by the ministry that was vindicated. Then they saw a further vindication on Transfiguration. Watch.
(17) For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Now Brother Branham always took that with John, “In Whom I am pleased to dwell in.” You don’t find that in the scripture, but a prophet can combine scripture, so can anybody else when it runs in continuity. Because it goes through the same thing.
(17) …This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
But remember, Brother Branham also said that this could not have been said until the adoption, which Mount Transfiguration was the adoption!
When the Son’s Name was just as good as the Father’s on the check-book because it had been thoroughly proven. See? Now man has been thoroughly proven through the ages by whether he’ll believe the Word or not.
‘This is the work of God that you believe on him who I have sent, and he brings the Word.’ Whether there’ll be a Bride standing here, fit to take over the Millennium, depends entirely upon her character! And Brother Branham said, “Find me such a woman of such character, she’ll listen to the message!”
And stand still in the waters of separation until she’s dressed. And I’ve told you time after time, I’ve stood with Moses who said, “Listen this Word fits you to go in.” I’ve proved it this morning by scripture as I’ve never proved it before.
You understand what I’m saying? You aren’t going in unless you believe this Word. Anyway, somebody’s got to have a Word, if we don’t have it, somebody’s going to have it. We aren’t going in. Because the Bride must be restored.
(18) And this voice from heaven [which] we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
(19) We also [have] a word of prophecy [made more sure];
He said, “Above and beyond what we saw!” Now listen, above and beyond what we saw categorically manifested before us, which is the irrefutable proof, we know where we stand! Here we’ve got something even greater. Coming up.
(19) …whereunto [you] do well that [you] take heed [down the road that’s you and me, if this is our day], as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
Two definite things spoken of. And the Daystar comes before the dawn! Now the big thing is looking for the dawn! But you’re going to miss it, if the Daystar doesn’t rise. It’s going to rise in your hearts.
(20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
(21) For prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the [Spirit of God].
Then if it came that way, how’s it going to be revealed? By the same one who gave it in the same way! He said, “There is something greater coming upon the earth as the Daystar, the prelude to the dawn, greater than the Mount Transfiguration!”
Say, “Well, I don’t know that I can believe that Brother Branham’s vindication is greater.” Then you’re sitting here totally deaf, dumb, and blind, and God knows what, in idiocy. If you don’t understand the three men alone saw that and heard that!
And multiplied thousands saw that. Not the picture now, the Pillar of Fire, but the man vindicated, thousands and thousands of times. Where do you stand this morning?
See, look, brother/sister, I am laboring with my soul and your souls this morning, to get to the place where we understand vindication, and by the grace of God, stand there through all the temptations and fires of hell, what man can do, if they burned us and boiled us in oil, what do we care?
No man can shake our souls, we haven’t got that far yet. Some of you are still trying to go down the byways and little highways, your own thinking. Forget it! Let’s turn now to Revelation the 2nd chapter. In other words, I’ll take full responsibility. 2nd chapter, and the 28th verse.
(28) And I will give [unto] him the morning star.
Now let’s read that in a context of verses 18 to 29. And this is Thyatira, see?
(18) Unto the [messenger] of the church [which is] in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet like [unto] fine brass; [Exactly the Judge that appears in Revelation 1.]
(19) I know thy works, and [thy] charity, and [thy] service, [thy] faith, thy patience, thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
(20) Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which [calls] herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants to commit fornication, to eat things sacrificed unto idols. [You know that’s spiritual. Because Paul already said, “Who cares what’s in the marketplace.”]
(21) And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
(22) Behold, I will cast her into bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. [So this church back there will be right in our day today.]
(23) And I will kill [all] her children with death [kill her with death, that’s the second death]; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to [his] works.
Brother Branham started discernment, and everybody from that point on has carried on. There’s not a church that doesn’t understand Hebrews 4:12. There’s not a church that doesn’t understand these things that have gone to gifts. But they don’t want it.
(24) But I say [unto you], and the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
(25) But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. [But you got to hold it.]
(26) He that overcometh, and keepeth my works [to] the end, to him will I give power over the nations: [What’s the works of God? To believe on him that He sends.]
(27) And he shall rule them with a rod of iron [that again takes you to the great Tribulation because that is the great Tribulation, the ruling with a rod of iron, and finally closing off, when He destroys the whole bunch of people on earth, when we come with Him in chapter 19 of Revelation.]; they [shall] be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
(28) And I will give him the morning star.
What is the church to get at the end time? Not God Himself, the incarnate One, but they are to receive the morning star, which they do not receive the Pillar of Fire, the Pillar of Fire goes to the prophet, and the morning star is the vindication!
Of the Word and God Himself. And if we cannot let vindication rise in our hearts, we are finished. Because here’s where the peace comes in! Where Brother Branham equates light, l-i-g-h-t, with peace, p-e-a-c-e. And your peace cannot be built upon anything but vindication! In other words, proof. Contracts!
Signed, sealed, authenticated, in order, protected, and absolutely proven that they will be carried through, not like some stupid, rotten court of law! And filthy politicians. Mr. Jim Wright, speaking for his life as though he’d done nothing wrong. He’s a liar and he knows it.
He wrote a private bill and tacked it as a rider on another bill, to give a woman friend of his, freedom from income tax, which would have cost two million dollars. Nothing wrong with America, one good bomb won’t cure. You say, “Why are you so mean?”
The Bible said, “Every liar will find his place in the Lake of Fire.” The first sign of something wrong is lies. And a spirit to stir up mischief is behind that. Because why would a person bother to lie if he wasn’t going to stir up some kind of mischief? Here it is promised.
(28) I will give him the morning star.
Who’s going to get the morning star? Those whose works continue to the end! What are the works? This is the work of God! That you believe on him whom He has sent. And the biggest work in the Word, brother/sister, is to get that mind under control, and Brother Branham died fearing that the Bride, so-called, would not put her time with the Word.
I make my mistakes, I wonder this morning, if I get up here with any kind of anointing at all. I lay in bed many times at two o’clock in the morning, I wake up from that time on, it’s just misery. So I turn myself to the Word of God.
But you know, like a fool, many times I don’t get up and make my notes. And many times what breaks over my mind and spills over at night, in the darkest hours, on this message, you know by next morning, the next day, I’ve plumb forgot. So I got to trust God, whatever was in my mind will come back to me. But He’s good at helping me. So far.
Now listen, we read in the context. Now, let’s go back. He said, “I’ll give him the morning star.” At the end time. And remember it takes you right to Revelation 19, where we come back with Jesus!
Do you follow what I’m saying? No morning star, no coming back with Jesus. Say, “I think otherwise.” Well you’re thinking wrong. You’re wrong! When are you going to change? See? You’ve got to have something solid today, brother. You can’t rely upon Gnosticism, it’s always been with us. See?
Okay, we’re going to read here. We’re going to go to my favorite. Oh, I’m so glad I discovered this years and years ago. Reading in the Daniel 70th week. It’s Ephesians 1:17.
(17) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
What is that? That’s the Daystar! And it’s also the dawn! It’s also the sun. In other words, it’s the vindication that comes our way, plus the reality of a revelation by God Himself, that makes us to know we have actually entered into the next day, which is the third day or Millennium, or the eighth day you’d call it.
If you have received the morning star, brother/ sister, time and eternity has blended, God and His Word has become one, and you and I are a part of it, and that goes to identification which we’ll talk later, we’ll not get to it this morning, I don’t think. So here you are,
(17) The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
(18) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened;
That’s your heart. The Daystar arise in your heart. What you see vindicated, rises in your heart and said, “Yes, this is so! Whatever that man says is got to be right because he’s vindicated.” Brother Branham waited for the third pull. Which was what?
The giving of the Word. And he said the greatest thing in the world, is the giving of that Word. That’s when God Himself, the Word-perfect identification, the mighty One that came down. [Points to the picture of the Cloud on the wall] Rhema and Logos are one, don’t you ever let anybody tell you they’re different.
The minute you believe that, you’ve left the prophet and the Word of God. Yes sir, don’t fool with that kind of stuff. Now, that vindication is what we depend upon, absolutely, for the revealed Word, wherein it will now perform the function for which it came.
Number one: the enlightenment by the light which is vindication, will cause you to stop and listen, open your heart, then when the Word comes in under the third pull, because that was the great thing, little birds, bigger birds, third pull, angels, sparrows, doves, angels.
To the third pull. The hand reading the heart, now the Word. The great thing coming. Opens you to the true revelation! See? So the Daystar arising, turns into the sun! Because that star as I understand, doesn’t have any light of itself, it also comes from the sun. Whatever light’s in it, doesn’t matter to me, it’s still light from God.
Now,
(18) [Thereby, you] may know what is the hope of his calling, the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
(19) And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
(20) Which he wrought in Christ,
In other words, God fully revealed in this hour. It has risen, the sun is shining in its full strength and this is the epiphany! The epiphany of God to the Bride, was not in the day of Paul! Because though the cornerstone is the same as the capstone, the headstone, it doesn’t have the honor and the glory! It merely suggests what is coming, and what the purpose is.
And the great purpose and the Purposer are one! And He’s right here in the form of the Holy Spirit, heading up the church right now to take us to the Millennium. And when that Spirit that’s in our midst, and Brother Branham said, “He’s appearing amongst us.”
When that Spirit, that One right there, [Points to the picture of the Pillar of Fire] that’s in our midst, becomes incarnate to us at the Wedding Supper, having first taken us up, we’ll crown Him King of kings, and Lord of lords, and that will be the Son of God, the Son of Man, the Son of David, the Rose of Sharon, the Altogether Lovely. Every title in the book, what is there, two hundred and some? Will be there.
Now listen. Ephesians 1:17 comes via 1 Thessalonians 4:16. And we read it already this morning. ‘The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a Shout.’ What is the shout? It is the Kalusma. Which means, by Word putting in subjection, which is an order. Putting the church in order. The Lord will descend to put the church in order.
Because the church is out of order. For the dead must come out of the ground, and they without us cannot be made perfect, we have to come to a perfection! Now listen, don’t let that go over your heads and out of your hearts.
I’ve had to do a lot of talking to God the last twenty-four hours, the way I’ve felt in my body. Not that that’s anybody’s business, that’s mine. Begin stating my claims, “I am a son of God! I have a right to this thing! I have a right to that thing!
I can come to God, I am a son of God no matter what I’ve done, doesn’t change one single solitary thing, my birth is in Him!” You got to begin to see these things. Whether they’re true or not, my brother, my sister, take your stand and see if they’ll become real. I don’t know, I can’t guarantee anything for you or me or anybody else.
All right, the Lord Himself descended with a Shout, putting the church in order. This is the church order Brother Branham spoke of, not simply tongues in a room. See? No, this is the true church order. Where Headship goes back to God, where the Bride comes back to the Word. Where she’s not one point off. But it’s all there.
All right, now. This, we turn now to Ephesians 4. And in verse 16, the church is committed to a system by the Holy Ghost.
(16) From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
In other words, the full body. Now go to Ephesians 5. We’re at the end time, see? Now watch what Ephesians 5 says, and verse 16. No, let’s go above that, here, verse 10.
(10) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
(11) And have no fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. [What are the works of darkness? They’re off in their own creeds and dogmas.]
(12) For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
(13) [Now] all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: [and] whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
In other words, whatever God brings on the scene to attract your attention, to divide the darkness and the light, He’s going to do it. So you start with the little light. Vindication of the Word by the prophet. Daystar. Pointing to the Word.
Remember, Rhema and Logos are one, don’t try to separate. He’s right here. [Points to the Pillar of Fire picture] He’s waiting to take on a body. That doesn’t mean one thing, He’ll do that in due course. What means what we’re looking at.
Now, watch what he said,
(14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
In other words, what has attracted you, what makes you to know something is there? What you are receiving will come into a dynamic revelation. See, absolutely, Christ will give you light. Don’t fuss about it, don’t fool about it. He is going to do it for you. Now listen, let’s go over here. It says here,
(14) …Awake thou that sleepest, arise from [amongst] the dead,
Let’s go back to Matthew 25. Now by now, you could in your own mind have these all put together. The first 13 verses.
(02) [There were] five wise, and five foolish.
Five of them had that which could contain oil. A container for the oil. They didn’t have any place for it. They had no place for the Word. Jesus said to the Pharisees, “You got no place for the Word.” Therefore there was no place for the oil. And there wasn’t any oil. Now,
(05) The bridegroom tarried, [and] slumbered.
(06) [But] at midnight [see, that’s a dark hour there] a cry [was] made, Behold, the bridegroom [Doesn’t say cometh, it says, “Behold the bridegroom, come out and meet Him.” That’s a complete mistranslation there from the Greek. Come] out [and] meet
(07) All [the] virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
But the others couldn’t take the Presence, because there was nothing there to take the Presence with. Now remember, on the way to that Christ, and the beholding, Christ coming into view, someone had shouted it. They could have got what they needed at that time. The Daystar could’ve risen. But they turned it down.
The five wise didn’t turn it down. I don’t care if you had just a little glimmer in your heart, a little something that says, “I know that’s got to be true, because what else is true?” You hold on to that, my brother, my sister. Because from the Daystar comes the sun. Comes the full dawn. Comes the full day, the full Epiphany of Almighty God. See?
[112] When we see darkness settling, darkness just before day, we know the morning star is hanging yonder to introduce the coming sun. That’s when the morning star shines. It’s the going-between. [Notice.] It’s always darkest just a few minutes before day, the blackout comes, the moon fails to shine. The darkest before day, is because the light is pressing the darkness. And the morning star comes out and says, “Good morning,” [or,] “Shalom.”
In other words, the light of God coming in this hour, vindicated Word, vindicated revelation, causes the darkness to actually roll together and become compacted, the same as when wind and I don’t know if you’ve ever been there or not, on the West Coast wind, where it’s cold,
from Frisco on above to Canada, the wind will blow the fog against the cliffs. And boy, you can just see literally chunks, mountain-like chunks of fog, can’t see your hand, blow in. It compresses it. Whether you know it or not, we are causing the world council of churches to come into being, and to focus their attention against the Word of God.
We are allied with Him, and identified, to make the darkness intensify itself, and its efforts. Every time we declare light, the enemy must declare darkness.
We are the ones that God is using, the ball that will someday come against the ten-pins, the ten toes. For we’ll come back with Him, to crush the mountain and make it like straw, before it is all over. Because all theology and all mountains of theology must go down. And the morning star comes out and says, “Good morning,” or, “Shalom.”
Alright. The word “Shalom” means ‘peace’. To my knowledge, there’s just maybe only one place where the word “Jehovah Shalom” is used, that’s of course in Judges. There may be other places, I haven’t looked them up in my Hebrew/ Englishman’s Concordance.
I may later on. The word is “Shalom”. It means ‘safe’. That’s the word “peace”, means ‘safe’. That is figuratively ‘well’, ‘happy’, ‘friendly’. Also concerns your welfare. ‘ Health’, ‘prosperity’, peace’, ‘well’, ‘holy’. Whole body, soul, and spirit.
Today under the seventh seal, that would mean ‘relaxed’. Totally relaxed, unified with the holistic approach. And a holistic attainment, whether you know it or not. From the root word, almost the same pronunciation, just a little different, means ‘to be safe’.
Mind, body, soul, as in Job. Figuratively, it means ‘completed’. When could God speak peace to anybody but a perfected people? Is He going to speak peace to a bunch of…
Now listen, I’m not worried about circumstances, I’m not worried about conditions, I’m worried about God and His Word, what His purpose is, and what He’s doing about it, because it’s sovereign grace.
So God now speaks peace, completed. By implication it means, ‘to be friendly’! Abraham the friend of God. God came down and visited Abraham. They sat under a tree! They ate! Together they entertained angels! Messengers. Abraham was told the secrets of God. This is the hour for the Son to be made flesh.
By extension, it means ‘reciprocate’! God reciprocating with man. Man screaming for years, “O God send a prophet; O God send somebody; O God!”
And so God came down as His Own prophet. And the Bride says, “Hallelujah, that’s great.” And other folk kept on screaming, “O God send a prophet; O God do something.” God reciprocating. Man turning down reciprocation. God manifesting in human flesh once more.
Man turning it down. By extension, we said, ‘reciprocate’. It means ‘to amend’, ‘make amends’; it means ‘to end’; it means ‘to finish’; it means ‘to make full’; it means ‘to give again’; it means ‘to make good’; it means ‘to be at peace’.
That is ‘perfect’, ‘perform’, ‘prosper’, ‘recompense’, ‘make restitution’, ‘restore’, ‘reward’. What more do you want? That’s God’s Peace. How do you like that? Emphatically, it means ‘safety’. Peace of mind. Figuratively, it’s ‘completed’. Implies ‘friendliness’.
Extension, ‘reciprocation’, ‘making amends’. Sure He’s making amends. Say, “Well, how’s He making amends?” By the very fact as Brother Branham said, God being a Savior, it was necessary to predestinate a man who’d required salvation, to give Him reason and purpose of being, the same as Irenaeus said. Deep calling unto deep.
God extending His purposes amongst mankind. Mankind suffering. God Himself making amends. God Himself restoring, God rewarding. God giving again. He gave us His Own Son again in the form of the Holy Ghost, they crucified themselves the Son of God, afresh. God finishing! God fulfilling! God making us to be at peace! Bringing in perfection, God performing, God prospering, recompensing, restoring! There it is. Peace.
What’s Light? No place can I find the term ‘Jehovah our Light.’ ‘Jehovah of our Peace,’ yes, but I could be wrong. The word means ‘illumination’ or ‘luminary’, because it’s the same thing. The word could be like sun is illuminary, it’s also luminous, same thing. In every sense including lightning. Like ‘lightning cometh out of the east to the west.’
‘Happiness’, ‘bright’, ‘clear’, ‘morning’ or ‘sun’. It comes from the word ‘to be luminous’, or ‘glorious’, ‘to kindle’, ‘to give or show light’. ‘To set on fire’, ‘to shine’. God setting His church on fire, people want fire. They want wildfire!
A lot of preachers in this Message, think you’ll scream and holler, that’s going to bring the glory of God. Listen, you can scream and holler all you want, it will not do it, you get first of all this, then if you can sit there and not do something about it, you haven’t got it, period! Because I’m going to tell you brother, this is a burning fire.
And let’s understand this, if John was a burning and a shining light in his season and they rejoiced, and we rejoiced in a vindication, then should we not rejoice in the Presence, much, much more? But I’m going to tell you, the minute you rejoice in a Presence, let me tell you something, your joy in what you had before could be stifled, because now you got to be crucified.
That’s the time to lift up your heads and rejoice, and have a shout for God, not in some church like this. Shout if you want, I’ll be for it, just don’t drown me out as I’m preaching, I’ll kick you out of here.
After I’m finished, I was in… many years ago, back in 1958, I was in New York for Brother Branham, we preached a full house, 550 people, when I got through preaching on the Trial Of Our Faith, and just soon as I was ready to pray, they knew it, 550 arose to their feet and began screaming and praising unto Almighty God, a man turned to a man in my presence,
He said, “Listen,” he said, he said, “that’s the way it should be, that’s the way it should be!” And the man said, “Yes, but you got to have that kind of preaching to get it!” I mean it brother, not patting Lee Vayle in the back, but it’s the truth.
I could not understand and I still can’t understand the Pentecostal ‘empty grain wagon’ yell and shout. Because I preached that Word of God, years ago had nothing in it hardly but a bunch of chaff, they’d scream and jump and dance, and I’d dance and shout with them, and I tell you, the minute I got down to the real Word of God, they sat like a bunch of ninnies there and grinded on their teeth against it.
Don’t tell me we’re going to go back to Pentecostal hogwash. But if you got a real scream in your heart, a real shout, not like some strangling cry of a woman who said she believes this Message, cried in a meeting one day. Don’t… you’re under bondage, kid, you’re just trying to fool your neighbor.
Don’t… listen, I could read you like a book, I was in Pentecost since I was eighteen years old. Don’t talk to me about it, brother/sister. Don’t give me that nonsense. But you can shout to God because something struck fire in your heart.
Sure, be my guest. But don’t think like Pentecost, because you struck fire one day, and you screamed and shouted and danced, it was great, the next day, hallelujah, we can have it again by the same dancing and screaming and shouting, it doesn’t work that way, brother/sister, doesn’t work that way. You got to have cats to produce kittens.
And you can’t get kittens without the cat, but Pentecost always wants the kittens and they put the cats to one side. In other words, plain and simple, if the Word and the power of God will make you shout, it doesn’t mean your shout will make the Word of God and power come. Sure, there’s that thing of praise, I’m all for praise, praise is comely.
You understand what I’m talking about. But I don’t want that Pentecostal stuff here, I’m not against it, no, he keeps on saying, “Brother Branham said I couldn’t shout ‘cause I didn’t have the victory,” I can take you to Pentecost right now, they’ve got no victory, they’re shouting and screaming right now to cover up their sins.
Let’s go with what Brother Branham said, he said, “Look it, if you jump high, I don’t care how high you jump, as long as you walk straight when you come down.” That’s an old cliché, but Brother Branham used it too. Oh yes, the epiphany, brother/sister.
Now,
[113] That’s [He] amongst us, His Word being identified. Shalom. [Alright, listen. What is the bright and morning star, what is the sun, coming on, what is this Shalom?]
[It’s He amongst us! His Presence identified. And because His Presence identified, it says here,] the great day is fixing to break, when the morning breaks Eternal, bright and fair, when His chosen ones shall gather home beyond the sky. When the roll is called up yonder, [I’ll] be there. Our names are on His Book, we will be there. “Shalom. Good morning. Peace be unto you.”
[What’s he talking about? He said,] “This is what’s going to bring you back for the Millennium.”
The Son of Righteousness has already risen with healing in His wings, which is immortality, He did it when He got off the mercy seat, and took the book out of the Father’s hands. Revelation 5. And the Father brought it down in chapter 10:1-7, and He gave the context of the mystery to the Seventh Church Age prophet, in verse 7.
What’s this Shalom, the morning star? What is this vindication, what’s it all about? It’s the Presence of God, in the form of the Holy Ghost, in our midst. Sure. Vindicated, proving Himself. God coming down as He did to Egypt, not merely manifesting in signs and wonders, but seen in a Pillar of Fire upon Mount Sinai, even so today! The picture caught, the camera caught His picture.
Say, “Well, I think that’s up for question.” Not to me it isn’t. Why, I may have my problems about it, but I’m not going to give in. But you know what? What if I’m wrong? In the sense of my own spirit, my own heart, but that’s right? Something’s got to be right about it, because there it is.
[Points to the picture of the Pillar of Fire ] The Bible says there’s coming a day when every tongue, every knee shall bow, and every tongue is going to confess. Either that or something else, I might as well get used to it now.
‘Cause whether I get cast into hell, I will still have to confess it! Might as well get used to it. My attitude’s right. I’m not bucking God. I think we’re catching the spirit of the prophet. That was his attitude.
Oh Shalom! That’s light, that’s peace, that’s He amongst us, His Word being identified! Identified Word received is the Daystar! The Son and the Word, the same thing. When you receive the full revelation, then when you get up there with Him, that Spirit becomes incarnate to us, then you see the Son in His fullness, God! Then you see us all coming back in the new day to take over.
Oh, this is the Epiphania, brother/sister, whether you want to believe it or not. I’m sorry for them, they don’t believe it. Most people that say they believe this Message, don’t know what I’m saying, they think I’m crazy. Well, I trust I lost my mind and got the mind of Christ.
Let’s go to John 20 again, and see this great One that came back from the dead. Let’s see how He acted, what He did to the disciples. Poor eleven people left there, shaken. And the poor sisters, and a few other folk. Okay, verse 19-21. And the 20th chapter.
(19) Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus stood in the midst, and [said to] them, Peace be unto you.
Now listen, He came and appeared at a time when sentiment, public, religious, was against this. What’s this? The true Messiah and the truth about Him. And He said, “Peace be unto you.”
(20) And when he said, he [manifested that He Himself was the One that was crucified and their Lord was there]. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
(21) [He said] again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
All right, that means in identical manner. And we go down then to verse 26:
(26) And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and [suddenly there He was] in the midst, [He] said, Peace be unto you.
Notice again. Same thing. Who was there? The risen One? Who is here? The risen One in the form of the Holy Ghost, what you’re looking at. Peace be unto you. That’s He, identified. Peace means He is here. All what Brother Branham said here is a part of His Presence. 114.
[114] And darkness, [of course which is dogmas and creeds and so on,] is separating. [It’s refusing vindicated doctrine. It’s] separating itself from the Light.
Now who was it that did that? Don’t look at the Methodists, Baptists, and the rest of those people, the poor Catholics. They didn’t know nothing from nothing. It’s the Pentecostals who did it. The chaff. Because all darkness… hey, listen. Come on.
Let’s turn to John I beg your pardon Matthew 23, I think is what I want. Okay, 34th verse, 33:
(33) [You] serpents, [you] generation of vipers, how can [you] escape the damnation of hell?
(34) Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: some [you’ll] kill and crucify; some [you’ll] scourge in your synagogues, and persecute city to city:
(35) That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom [you] slew between the temple and the altar.
(36) Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. [Did it? You bet it did!]
Then what about the fact that the blood of all the martyrs is found in the end time anti-Christ church? Now what’s the end time church? Pentecostal. Where did it start? Back in the harlot, in the Dark Ages. They turned down the final light. They turned down the peace, which was perfection. They turned it all down. And upon this generation is going to come.
Now listen,
[114] God’s causing it, the Light’s a-doing it. [114, read again.] The darkness is separating itself from the Light. [Because the Light pushed it back.] God is causing it. It is the Light that’s doing it. [It wasn’t the vindication of the Daystar; they wouldn’t let it rise in their hearts.]
They went and ran with it, as something anybody could do. So the Word had no chance. They died. God’s causing it, the Light is doing it. The Word’s doing it every time.
See, the Light’s pressing Itself in such a way until the darkness has to congregate together. [Tares are being bound.] They had a chance to accept it and they wouldn’t do so, so it’s condensed itself. And they do that by putting the church together, the Council of churches, and uniting it with pagan darkness.
What was the original pagan darkness? Everybody knows the Roman Catholic Church was started by a bunch of idolatry. They put Christian names to it. Any historian knows that, the Catholics know it, or they don’t know it ‘cause they don’t want to know it!
They are the most willfully ignorant people in the world to begin with! But they’re not a patch on the Pentecostals! Why? Pbbt. Roman Catholicism without Pentecost is nothing, it’s Pentecost that lifted her to where she is. Don’t tell me it isn’t so, Du Plessis is Mr. Pentecost, and he got the Bible to the Roman Catholics!
He got the gifts to the Presbyterians and to the Catholics. They turned down the real one, William Branham, and they took Duplessis, his very name is suggest of duplicity. I know the man. He could talk to those who believed in [Inaudible], said, “Oh, yes, you’ve got it.”
To those who were against it, “Oh,” he said, “they’re wrong, you’ve got it.” Two-faced is the word. Not running the guy down, just telling you the truth, he can say, “Well, Lee Vayle, he’s such a smart showoff, smart-pants,” that’s fine, go ahead and say it, doesn’t bother me any, because if I am, I am.
If I’m not, you’re in tough luck. ‘Cause you judged find where im just a smart-pants. Try me, show me where I’m off this. There’s the man they fought.
‘Course they pretend they’re [Inaudible] some guy says, “Well you see it’s men like Lee Vayle that got Brother Branham all messed up, because Lee Vayle taught Brother Branham the doctrine.”
If that isn’t a laugh. You know that’s the best joke I’ve heard, I could keep myself giggling all night, but I do like a little sleep.
[114] They had a chance to accept it, they wouldn’t do so, it condensed itself. And they do that by putting the church together, see the condensation, coming together, and the Council of churches, uniting with pagan darkness. When they so firmly disagree with one another, and yet they had to go together to make the night come upon the people.
What’s that? That’s Hebrews 6. And Isaiah 60, we’ll go into that. We’ll go back to this paragraph here, and this is going to start here, for number 13, eh? Okay, and I’m going to just comment a little bit here, and I’m going to stop. Now it says, when they so firmly disagree with one another.
All right. How many of the so-called Christian nations are really churched? And how many so-called Christians are really churched? Ah, not a great number. That they really are faithful, attend. They really tithe, they really support, they do this and they do that.
There are a lot of make-believers even in their own doctrine. So then, how many people will really control the world? Not one billion. No. But a few men, who head up the hierarchy. Just like Russia. One percent Commies, ninety-nine percent either are believers after a sort, or are believers after quite a sort, or don’t know what to do about it, they are certainly agnostics, they don’t know.
How many Christians are Gnostics? The majority. Well, now, no. I wouldn’t say that, a minority. How many are agnostics? The majority. So how many will really control? A very few in number.
So the compressing of the darkness lies where? It lies in the hierarchy, the system, not in the people. But the people, blind leaders, blind people led by the blind, will all fall in the ditch. They’re all going to go. So it is we, if we have our eyes on the right leader, because there’s got to be a right leader! Always one is antithesis to the other.
If you’re going to find blind people, you must find people who are not blind. If you find dumb people, there are those who are not dumb. If there are naked people, there are those who are not naked. If there are those in darkness, there are those who are not in darkness!
Blind leading the blind all fall in the ditch. You can see what’s going to happen with the money system, you can see the whole thing coming. It’ll be here shortly. There’s no way you and I can escape. What do we need to escape? Who cares?
Oh, you fence yourself as best you can for those things that are present. But the unknown future, which is not the unknown future, it is merely the known future, but not knowing how it’s going to be done.
Brother Branham said many times, “We know it’s going to be done, but we don’t know how it’s going to be done!” But we know more and more.
So here you are, the Light coming. My, I certainly covered the pages today, didn’t I? Four paragraphs. Well, marvelous, Lee, you’re getting better. Better at getting worse. Okay, start next week, and we’ll come back to Isaiah.
And I want to show you some things in Isaiah. I want to show you a double picture, how it runs in scripture, hope I can anyway, best I can. Might understand… Let’s rise at this time.
Merciful God, our heavenly Father, we come to You now in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that risen One, of Whom the prophet said You took the body up there, put it on the mercy seat, now, actually climbed upon the throne, the seals ripped off the book, the book of redemption.
Which came down here, and we saw its contents via the plan that must be accepted. And as we identified with that plan, we know our names are on the book. And we thank You for it, Lord, that this is true. Thou art the true God. And You’re in our midst.
Now Lord, again, I got to tell the people the honest truth as I tell You and I know I’m not going to lie up here, I don’t know this the way I want to know it, I don’t feel it the way I want to feel it, I don’t have it the way the prophet had it, I might not have to.
But Lord, I want to blend whatever voice I have and any confession I have with the prophet who was vindicated, which we believe he certainly was, something was there. He had what nobody else had. We are attracted to that Light, Lord, trusting that we now come and we are in the Presence of the true Light, Who is revealing Himself now with Rhema and Logos, one.
Until we’re taken out of here, and then see the Son in all His glory, shining upon a renewed earth, and we part of it. Bless each one here today, Lord, and help us all to serve You in spirit and in truth, and to be as Paul said, “If you live in the spirit, walk in the spirit,” and Father, that’s what we know this church needs.
We need, Lord, to walk in that spirit, the same spirit the prophet had. Of love and kindness and temperance and acceptation, but just standing on that one Word, we will not brook anything taking away from us this Word.
And we’re not like cowards either, afraid to talk it, like some churches. Oh, no, they don’t dare. Lord God, if this church doesn’t dare, there’s something awful wrong me, you’re going to have to do something about me for the sake of the people.
Because I know they had better be talking it. They had better be into this Word, Lord. It’s more than our necessary meat. We’re looking to You heavenly Father for all the help You can give us, in this sense, that You help us in ourselves if necessary, we need the help, to break down anything, Lord,
that’s stopping the channels from the Word coming in, until the flow of the Word into the soul is such that the soul is full with the Word, then can reverse itself, and we see a Word people here, see a people made perfect, Lord, we believe that so they without us will not be made perfect, they can come out of the earth,
Lord, and we can actually have something to do with that great day, when Brother Branham comes out of the earth, Lord, and we know that You’re still here as that great Pillar of Fire. To change us, to lead us. All become one on earth, standing here, total Bride.
And the others may be in dimension, but still they’re here. O God seeing Your Kingdom come, to see these things as never before, and to know that this is the Ultimate, at least of this hour. We appreciate it Father, we thank You for it.
We thank You for it, Lord, whatever we don’t have, we hold hand up asking You to help us, to get it, to be a part of us, the better part, the greater part. We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, amen.
