Stewardship #14

Munificent, Magnificent God; Required Purity Of The Word; Time To Bite Bullet

Brother Lee Vayle

Shall we pray.

Heavenly Father we welcome Your Presence this morning, and as we said previously concerning marriage, that love was one of respect, and we realize as Brother Branham dedicated the tabernacle renewed, rebuilt with greater structure, that he admonished the people to come with great respect.

And we trust this morning Lord that we have great respect for You, that we understand, we know in full accord with the marriage vows, the bonds, the invisible union of Christ and the Bride, this morning, and totally respect You, and we know that that respect comes by the revelation of the Word, which we know You are Christ that Word.

So help us to be very respectful this morning Lord, to be absolutely one with that Word, to have no parting of our ways, but so adamantly joined in that union that there is no separation, even as Paul said, “Neither life nor death.”

Not in this life, and not death down the road, there is no separation, there is no way we’re separated from the Holy Spirit, which we’re very grateful.

May we realize that at all times as we proceed in our life, and even proceed in this Message, in Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

You may be seated.

01

Now last night you’ll notice that we went very heavy into Gnosticism, and there’s of course a great purpose behind that.

And that’s so that we get our eyes off everything but the fact of the Bride of Christ, the original church, was deceived into sin, even as Eve was, and the seed was planted in there, so that there is an intertwining, even as there is an intertwining of flesh, of animal and man, that came from the Garden, and you cannot actually separate it.

You know its there, science has proven it, but there isn’t one person who can tell by the flesh, even if it was thoroughly analyzed and examined by the minutest of methods, and most intensive methods that man could ever accomplish, but it has to do with the foreknowledge, election, and predestination of God.

And only God knoweth them which are His, particularly at this end hour, the foundation of God standeth sure having this seal, the Lord knoweth them which are His.

And of course, that seal goes beyond the knowledge of God simply knowing, it goes experientially to the fact that we’re sealed in by the Holy Ghost.

So you don’t bother looking at the Jew. They turned down God; he that hath not the Son hath not the Father.

And so don’t look at him and worry about Rothschild, who said, “I don’t care who makes the laws as long as I can make the money,” or Brandise that McVeigh quoted when he said, “The nations must be leader, and the nation and the government educates the people.”

What Mr. McVeigh also thought, forgot, or didn’t read was that Brandise was the one that said that, “The Supreme Court must no longer adjudicate; it must now legislate.”

02

Forget the fact that most of the head of the federal boards of our finances, the Federal Reserve, have been Jews. Forget all those things that Wall Street Jews as Brother Branham excoriated. Forget all that.

The Jews aren’t even counted, they’re peripheral, until Jesus Christ comes back, forget it. Forget about the Muslims, the Mohammedans, and all those people there. They have not the Son; they have not the Father.

So therefore no matter what they say, you look at Ishmael. When do you find a blessing upon Ishmael? He was… kicked out, as an Egyptian, even though he was Abraham’s son. But look where he came.

It was only by Sarah the son came. You go down the road further, and you find what about Esau? Well Esau was simply blessed temporally. There was no heavenly blessing in there, and though he sought the birthright continually with tears, it didn’t do him any good.

03

So what I’m trying to show you is this: you are dealing with Christianity. You are dealing with Jehovah Elohim. You are dealing with the chosen people.

And in there Satan, he injects himself, and the people become animalistic until the very end time, it simply says concerning them, that they are natural brute beast animals, made to be taken and destroyed, as Brother Branham said, cannon fodder.

So what you do, you get your eyes on what Brother Branham said. Forget communism, forget the Jews, forget the Mohammedans, forget everything but the fact that the church Rome is taking over, the harlot and her daughters.

This is what you’re looking at; the mustard seed of planted faith goes through the whole world, and this gospel that Brother Branham preached, the renewal of Paul is going through the whole world. It’s not doing anything but catching those that are supposed to be caught.

And remember, as Brother Branham said, you cast the net; the fisherman brings all the fish to shore. There’s crawdads, there’s crabs, there’s lobster, and yet there’s fish.

And the old crawdad’s said, “Well, I’ve had enough of this, I’m going back.” And the crab said, “Well I don’t like this,” and he sidles back. And the lobster, he goes back.

And all of those things go back. But the fish remains in the net. They are the sheep and the children of Almighty God. Various appellations meaning the same thing.

So what you begin to see then is what happened, what happened, as Brother Branham taught from the book, how did it all happen.

How did it happen? It happened by the fact that people given office, and they were the elders, given an office, they allowed to preach, the error came in, they vaunted themselves by reason of the fact of an office and ministry they took upon themselves to advance from where God put them, and become what God had not wanted them to be, now they are in complete conflict with God.

That’s exactly why you have a conflict at the end time. And that’s why even after the White Throne, the judgment, Satan comes back with all the people in conflict with God and try to destroy the holy encampment, and God destroys them.

04

Now that’s what I want you to get from last night, and I’m epitomizing this morning, don’t you forget it, because that’s what it is. Politics don’t mean a thing. Forget it.

What the Jews do doesn’t mean a thing; forget it. It’s all out there; it’s there. Forget about the Kabul, forget about the protocols of the elders of Zion, forget about all this mishmash that’s been taught, forget it.

Don’t worry about it. What you’re looking at is Gnosticism. And you see it epitomized in the Mormon Church even.

There’s a Mormon book of prophecy that said, “When William Branham comes on the scene, it’s over.” The Mormons themselves don’t even know that.

The Mormons don’t even know that Joe Smith did not institute polygamy; it was Brigham Young. See? What are they doing?

They’ve revised history, and you’ve got a revisionist gospel right today where nobody believes the original. The original came back under Brother Branham.

So that’s what we have, that’s what’s going to get us through. And so all out here in the periphery, and all around the world, only thing you look at, what did Brother Branham come to correct?

He never corrected the Mohammedans, forget about it. Cast the net, maybe a few came in. Confusion… God knows what. Forget it. Look, it’s the church. That’s what we’re looking at. Based upon Gnosticism.

Not denying the Father and the Son, no they don’t deny that, they don’t deny the power of the Holy Ghost, they don’t deny a rebirth, they don’t deny anything, they just come around like the devil and say, “Well it really doesn’t mean that.

We have a higher revelation. We have something different.” Until now Christianity is loaded with nothing but insults toward God, fighting’s toward God, and the Bible tells the end time in this message they’ll even deny the very Lord that bought them, say no to Him, and they’ve done it. They’ve turned their own way.

05

So that’s what I was bringing out last night, and I hope you never forget it, I could preach another hour on it, but that’s not my point this morning.

And what I want to look at there, just simplistically, is the very fact we bring up and we wonder, what exactly is the rebirth?

The rebirth is nothing more nor less than the baptism with the Holy Ghost, and what does the baptism with the Holy Ghost produce?

Well I’ll tell you what it produced. It produced in Paul, and he said, “Everything I ever had, my status, everything I was ever positioned in, in the tribe of Israel,” and he said, “I was way up there in the Sanhedrin,” he said, “my life was blameless concerning the law, I had it all hook, line, and sinker,” and he said, “I found I was wrong.” And he said, “I count it but dung.”

In other words, that’s… and you go back to the word ‘dung’ in the Bible, you’ll find when Israel’s on the march, they had to carry little paddles, and when they relieved their bowels, they took a little paddle, opened the ground, and poured dirt on top.

Buried it. Dung. And then he said to the rest of them who didn’t understand, he said, “If you are really born again, you will take what I say, because it’s the literal Word of God, and superimpose it upon everything you ever believed.”

In other words, you will renew your mind, you’ll blank out entirely all the old tripe and gunk that you had, you’ll be one with the Word of the Living God, delivered by a prophet.

06

Now that’s what we’re talking about, a rebirth. Are you born again? Well you can know right this morning. You can know right this morning.

If you rising against the Word of God, in any form, which is the passive faith of doctrine, you’re not born again! And if you’re fighting doing the things that God wants you to do in the Word, which is your active faith, you’re not born again! So as Brother Branham said, come and receive the token.

Get before God and ask for the true Holy Ghost baptism, not some pseudo thing, but the truth. And you will line with this Word; you cannot help it! Because you are a part of the Word.

You show me where a cow cell, by the bull and the cow, developing a calf, does not align itself perfectly with that life. Because it’s in there.

07

How are you and I going to say we’re born again and come against this vindicated Word of God, and say, “Well I don’t care what Brother Branham says, well I got this idea; I’ve had this, well, Brother Vayle, I’ve had this experience, and I’ve seen this.”

I showed you last night what came into my life. If I’d have pushed it I could have gone, God knows where I could have gone, right in a path of horror, by learning a key, like Balaam, swinging in. Genuine gift, oh, don’t doubt it’s a genuine gift, don’t you doubt it.

End up serving the devil. I don’t know if you’re catching all the things that I’m saying, I don’t expect you to, but I sure hope you get part of it.

Because I don’t stand up here, deliver my soul, and open every inch of my soul and my mind and my body for any other reason than to tell you what is the truth.

Because hey, I can quit tonight, by tonight, never come back again, never tell one more thing. Live my life as a recluse or some reclusive area.

But I do it for one reason, whether it brings ridicule, that’s fine by me, go ahead and ridicule. That’s your privilege, you do what you want, what I’m telling you, telling you what this Word is all about and why I preach what I do.

08

All right, now we’re into Stewardship this morning, and I’m simply going to read, because I’ve got a lot to cover, and I hope I can do it.

We have already read many scriptures on the series we’ve taken concerning Stewardship, especially in the gospels, which we read to you and showed you the parables, and we found that the position of a steward was one not only of honor, but one that involved great responsibility.

He was responsible for what happened with what he was given. And remember, he was only chosen because the master could see he had the essentiality of being one who would be responsible for what the master gave him.

He didn’t just shake a little old dice and say, “Eenie, meenie, miney, mo. Let’s see if we can find something here to work on.” He looked, he scrutinized, and he said, “I’m watching.”

You think that Pharaoh took Joseph haphazardly? Why he knew that Joseph had a vision, he knew that he was a prophet, he said, “Joseph, come on, I’m going to use you.”

Do you think Nebuchadnezzar fooled with Daniel because he heard little things about Daniel being the gay boy that led the parties?

No, he said, “That man’s going to tell me, I know him. I understand.” God gave responsible gifts to responsible people and they’re responsible, and you and I are responsible and we have everything needed to bring forth what God wants. So let’s get that flat.

09

Now the steward was not required to provide any part in the wealth. It was a gift, as it were. Which he had administered for his employer, but he was bound to be responsible for it.

In a case of neglect or wrong judgment wherein he lost the employers assets, he could be dismissed and even pay for the loss by restoring what he lost or squandered, or even be punished by imprisonment, which length imprisonment would depend on how much he lost, or on the actual will of his employer.

Now you saw that in the parables, read them again. In some cases he might be forgiven and then there’d be no repayment required of him.

There are many things in life we do that we actually don’t reap for in the sense that there is a net product in there, but there’s tremendous embarrassment and shame to know and be held up. Failed.

When we could not have failed, because we could have done better. He was a trusted person, and it was expected of him to do his best. His personal input was responsibility. So therefore he acted very wisely, very slowly.

Now in the majority, if not all of the gospel narratives, we find that each parable is addressing us all as stewards of the grace of God and as stewards of the gifts of God, which as Paul said, “If you got this from God, and you didn’t have it in the first place, don’t you boast as though you’re anything.”

10

Now my major thought, rather these parables are based on Genesis 1:26-31. And that means that we see where God made Adam and Eve responsible to Him, gave them control over everything, of which they had produced nothing, and they find themselves in the literal kingdom of God on earth, in the Garden of Eden, masters of all they survey.

And you’ll notice that they were responsible. And you will notice that right away there were certain strings or contingencies attached to it. Certain prime requisites.

And all they had to do was to begin look at those requisites and be very obedient, such obedience that it was not required as beyond their ability to do it, but actually easy, because their abilities were of God, because God’s commandments are also God’s promises, and God’s promises and commandments are God’s enablements.

So we have a very powerful situation here. That’s in Genesis 1:26-31.

11

Herein we find a total disregard for the Creator, that’s Adam and Eve, and Master Employer. For He was not only their Creator and Father, He was their Master Employer.

This is why you’ll always find in the Bible, “Blessed be the God and Father.” No, blessed be God Who is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Notice God is placed above fatherhood, just because Jesus had God as his Father, did not make him above God and responsible, as though God were some doty grandfather, as Brother Branham said.

So always watch your scripture, “Blessed be the God and Father.” Responsibility. “Of our Lord Jesus Christ.” So their Creator. He was their Master Employer.

Who when He rightfully and authoritatively demanded their stewardship of the entire earth, and it’s a promise too, and its furnishings, be governed according to successful guidelines that were amply explained and demonstrated, they disregarded those rules and bankrupted God’s Kingdom on earth, and the devil took over.

And for these six thousand years, Abraham’s seed, or Adam’s seed, has been in bondage, and can only come out of the pest house prison, at the first resurrection, of which there are two parts.

And there’s a great mystery there, because Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the patriarchs, the beloved of God, of the Old Testament, are already in a glorified form.

Where are they? Who knows and who cares it’s all ready been done. So if you want to have a little mystery to put under your mental belt…

12

Now where could those resurrected people be? Well I’ll tell you. I will rob a bank. And pay the mafia somehow to help me murder all your enemies, and secure you in a life of ease and liberty you never ever found possible… see I’m willing to go to all this extent.

Just tell me you can find out where they are. Forget it. They’re somewhere. They’re eating; they’re drinking, without a doubt.

Brother Branham explained beyond the curtain of time they could shake hands, and hug, and love one another, but they couldn’t eat and drink.

So if you’re resurrected being like Jesus was, he ate a fish sandwich. You know for a while I thought Brother Branham just sort of threw that in, till I read it myself. I’d forgotten I read it.

And the old songs said, “Bread and fish upon the fire, come and dine.” He ate a fish sandwich. Now why would a glorified man eat a fish sandwich?

Hmm, hmm, hmm? Now I’m doing this on purpose, mocking, to get you to understand, hey, that’s none of your business, none of my business, let’s get with the Word of God and get to the Word that God gave to us, and where there’s a performance thereof, let’s get to it!

13

Now this morning the message is going to be very scathing, and it’s not because I’m a goody-goody two shoes, and it’s not because I lived it, it’s going to be tough on all of us, because it is the Word of God, and I am not going to pull my punches on the Word of God, because I have disobeyed many, many times, and not been a good example.

We cannot afford at this late hour to jeopardize our lives by not having the absolute, the strongest, truest teaching possible in the Word of the living God, and then see if we can bring ourselves under that Word, to live that Word, to try, to do, and remember we can if we really want to.

It’s just are we going to go with the world the way Eve started it, or are we going to stay with Almighty God? That’s the question, and we’re going to look at it this morning.

Now there’s another parable we looked at, and it’s in Isaiah 5:1-7, and I’m going to read it to you, because this is a Jeremiah, as it were, God weeping, because of a certain condition.

And it’s very early in the Book of Isaiah, which is a tremendous Book revealing the full plan and all of God.

14

Now he says here,

Isaiah 5:1-6

(01) I will sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. [So this is as it were in this hour Jesus Christ and His Bride, if you wish to make that illustration, although actually this is God Jehovah and the Bride, the Old Testament Israel.] My well-beloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

(02) And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

(03) And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.

(04) What could [I] have done more to my vineyard, that I have not done it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

(05) And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

(06) And [laid] waste: [and so on.]

There is a perfect picture of stewardship that Israel denied God. They refused to listen to God, they refused to obey Him. Now remember, their obedience was not very tough to endure.

Not at all. But coming out of Egypt, being as sensual as they were, and then not destroying the inhabitants of the land, and the kings taking unto themselves foreign wives, and the men likewise, they introduced idolatry, until there was nothing left even a semblance of God, except in a few people, maybe seven thousand out of several million, as under the time of Elijah, when God manifested Himself upon Mount Carmel, and they turned God down.

You notice they made a little de facto elimination of Baal and his followers by killing four hundred priests. But if there was only seven thousand that hadn’t bowed the knee out of millions, the killing of four hundred priests didn’t do much good, because nothing was taken out of the hearts of the people.

Because in there was something crying for a leadership that was not of God, and believe me, the devil will always satisfy.

In fact, if you and I get a little bit intimidated by obeying God, if we get our feathers ruffled, and we want an easy way, Satan will come right around, and in no time at all, he’ll make sure that you get your easy way.

And then you watch, there’ll be a price to pay. Because God doesn’t forsake His Own.

15

Paul the Apostle said, “I am persuaded,” he said, “that God is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day,” fully persuaded that God would do it.

And Jesus said, and this is what Paul based upon, “Of my sheep I’ll lose none.” You’ll get there, but what condition will you and I get there in?

Now having read these verses, it’s not difficult to detect that the same spirit that was in Israel, or Isaiah, the time of Israel’s debauchery, was in Jesus, when Jesus gave forth His parables on stewardship.

Their perfections of God’s gifts and the importance to us were not rightly esteemed. Because of grace, and in most cases, there was not an instant response when the people got lax.

In other words, judgment was down the road. As they say the mills of God grind slow. And God does not always bring a harvest in October, though many people would like it. He’s not swift; He takes His time.

16

Now my major thought on the subject that we are considering is this: the indescribably munificent, magnificent gift of God, it’s munificent, and it’s magnificent.

Munificent means there’s a lot of money involved, there’s a lot of goodness involved, there’s a lot of prestige, everything that man wants, munificent.

And magnificent. He doesn’t give you a bunch of currency like they had in Germany after the First World War, where it took a wheelbarrow load of marks to buy a loaf of bread, if you could get it.

No. It’s magnificent; it’s munificent. It’s wonderful. The indescribably munificent, magnificent gift of God’s grace in whatever form that grace comes, cannot be scorned or despised by man, without the severity of God’s responding judgment.

In other words, if you turn it down, what have you got left? You’ve got the devil’s empty hollow word that destroys you! And yet it’s based upon what God said because the devil does not have a word of his own! Come on, let’s find the Garden of Eden, God gave them life, and He promised them life, and He said, “Death is there, watch it.”

And the devil came right in, using God’s Word, and he said, “Ah, come on now, don’t let God fool you. You’re not going to die!” He based his promise on the Word of God, and his promise was fallacious, because he cannot keep a promise, why? Because he’s a liar!

And even Abraham Lincoln said, “There is no man smart enough to be a liar!” Why? Because he forgets. And he can’t adapt his lie to every single situation.

17

How many of you ever got caught as a kid in a lie? I did, my God, I was like a chameleon, I had more colors than God ever gave a chameleon. I only got out because, phhtt, they just didn’t bother. Let’s face it.

Now grace is unmerited favor, as Paul says, the free gift. And the free gift or grace is always unto life. It’s unto life.

The word of Satan is unto bondage and destruction. And what he leads people to do about the Word of God always fetters them, and brings them low.

That’s why you get these spirits as the Bible said, “They’re peeping and muttering out of the dust.” That’s where they belong, under our feet, and we’re so stupid we stoop to what’s under our feet!

Paul said he buried it. As an unsanitary thing. The Bible says all tables are full of vomit. We go, “Oh, num, num, that’s great.

Mmm, yum, yum, I just love vomit.” You know what vomit is? Second hand Word chewed up and spit out. The devil messing with God’s great grace and His manna.

18

It’s always unto life, never changing, never ceasing. It is as Paul said in Romans 5:12, and we don’t even have to read all that, I’ll just give you a clue to it. This is where Paul’s discussing making grace as comparison to disgrace.

Romans 5:12-13

(12) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

(13) [For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed [where] there is no law.

And that’s true. And we don’t have any law. We’re entirely under grace. We’re not judged by law. No way, shape and form. You know what we’re judged by?

We are judged by grace, which is the unmerited favor of Almighty God, positioning us, and giving us gifts along with the responsibility to mature in… manifested sons of God and take our place in the economy of Almighty God, and listen, that’s what it’s all about!

That’s freedom, that’s life, that’s love, there’s no law. So there’s no sin. But what is it? It’s the fact of a person not living within the grace and redemptive life of Almighty God, and therefore he’s not producing his highest!

19

Now look, you put a seed in the ground, that’s properly fertilized, and that seed has all the elements of the original life that God gave it, and the original soil is all there, and the sun and the rain come down upon it, you will get a harvest that the worms and the bugs do not eat, because the healthy plant is not attacked by a bug or an element. Brother Branham even said that.

So here we are. What is it? We don’t produce because we simply don’t want to produce! And simply say no to the grace of Almighty God, not knowing a fortune lies at our fingertips.

How many times did Dr. Williamson out of Canada go pass over a field of diamonds that many men did not recognize?

No doubt hundreds, if not thousands of people went over those same fields. But that man, being trained as a scientist, and perhaps a gemologist, a geologist, who knows what he was exactly, he looks in there, and he finds that blue soil, he finds the diamonds. And he finds one of the richest finds in the whole world, sells out to De Beers for billions of dollars.

It was there! It was there for the taking, it was there for the plucking! And so are the things of God for you and me, dare we put that aside for some little lust of the flesh?

Yes Eve did it, and we’re still doing it. Some little temporary enjoyment. Let me tell you, I’ve got a freedom today, and a love of God, and something in my soul that I could never have had, except I was dedicated to God, live, die, sink, swim, I will not turn back!

And I’m a very casual type of person to think well, a bird in the hand’s worth two in the bush, because I got this thing now, like Eve said, and maybe I won’t get what God said down the road, so at least I got this, let’s have a great time.

Forget it. Anything I ever gave up I found wasn’t worth giving up. Wasn’t worth having, rather. But everything I found from God, though many times I disesteemed it, it turned out great.

20

All right, it says in verse 15.

Romans 5:15

(15) But not as the offence, so also the free gift. For if through the offence of [one] many be dead, much more the grace of God, [notice, far greater, never to be compared,] the gift [of] grace, by one man, [and so on.]

So you see here right now, there’s nothing in life that we can front. There is nothing at all in our bodies, there’s nothing in our minds, there’s nothing anywhere that preempts the grace of God, or stands and says, “Look the grace of God cannot overcome, because this is all free gift, I have it, I can do it.”

That’s what kept Israel from going in the Promised Land. They just looked, they saw the grapes of Eshcol, they took two men to carry one bunch. Merciful God, do you realize what I’m saying?

A bunch of grapes so heavy on one vine it took two men to carry it, and even they staggered. That could be seven hundred pounds of grapes, six hundred pounds of grapes; we’ll even get it down to four hundred, if you’re a little bit chicken.

Three hundred? All right, where have you ever seen a bunch of grapes fifty pounds? And they saw the inhabitants of the land. And they said, “Oh my, oh my, we can’t do this, oh my, we can’t have it, oh my, this can’t be done, oh my.”

They went into a negative confession. They never said what God said. And they died. They wandered and wandered, and God was angry. Do you know why God was angry? Well wouldn’t you be?

21

I could tell you a story right now, but it might embarrass somebody, so forget it. I was angry. Very angry. Very angry. So I know a little bit what God feels like. Do everything, be nice, na, na, na, na, na. You get it?

Well you better get it. It’s as simple as ABC. I did what nobody else would do. But, na, na, na. Be very quiet, be very reverent.

Because that’s holy ground. You and I had better watch it. By your words you’re justified, and by your words you’re condemned, there’s only one Word that justifies anybody, that’s the Word of God.

And that’s the positive confession; everything else is negative. Remember the devil does not have a word of his own. Get that.

You won’t find that in the Bible, I can prove it in the Bible; the devil does not have a word of his own. It was God Himself Who confused the languages; the devil never gave the language.

It’s the devil who takes words and makes them rotten and mean and nasty. It’s the devil that gives wrong meanings all the time.

God is a true etymologist; he is the scuzzball etymologist, the devil. Because he will take language and destroy it. And when language has lost it’s meaning, there’s nothing left.

Mitchener said that. Brilliant man. Where he got his philosophy, God only knows, he must have had something from God on that one.

22

Now, as Paul says in Romans, we see the setting for grace. In spite of everything there is grace of Almighty God. Thus we see that the gifts of God, of grace, are given to us eternally.

Now you can see that by reading 1 Corinthians 3, where how we build the foundation of God, the gold, silver, and precious jewels, which is New Jerusalem, how we’re laying up is eternal.

So all these graces that are given us by gifts and ministries, are eternal. It’s just like that mystical body Brother Branham speaks of in 2 Corinthians 5; we have a house eternal in the heavens.

I can’t figure it, I’ve tried to, and I’ve got my explanation to a degree, but I can’t do it, I just leave it sit there, it’s one of the mysteries. It’s the thing that Jesus had, and we had, but we bypassed, and we’ll yet get. I don’t understand it, but its there.

So the things of God are eternal, when He says they are, and these things now assume the place of eternality, because the gifts that we have were resident, and are a part of the energies of the Holy Spirit.

And in the proper vessel those gifts will remain forever. And even at the end of time there is no indictment against the gift of prophecy and healing and miracles, and the gifts of God by grace, even on the devil’s people!

The judgment is upon the people who use them, because they used what was not theirs to be used as they used it.

23

Now having read these verses and see a little of the grace of God, let us see in the scripture where grace was frustrated even by the people, very fine people, even exactly it was Peter, and you’ll find that in Galatians 2:11-21, where Peter set aside the revelation, the true revelation of the Son of God, and the great mystery of grace, the great sermons he preached on Christ Savior, and turned around and wanted to inject circumcision as a part of grace!

And where did it leave the woman? It left her where most people want her, as nothing but a chattel, and without man she is nothing.

I got news for every woman, Brother Branham said on a tape, I’m quoting Jack Bell, because he found it. Where Brother Branham said there’d be more women in heaven than men, I don’t understand it, I’m not even going to try, I am more than slightly insulted to a degree.

See I’m honest, and you’re not. You sit there, and oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, but you won’t tell the truth. No, I’m not really insulted, I’m puzzled.

I’m puzzled, because Adam and Eve started as one, but he said there’ll be more. I don’t understand it. It’s not a Mormon doctrine either, nor is it a Mohammedan doctrine. Which in themselves are pure licentious, filthy, rotten, degraded, misinterpretation, or added to scripture.

24

So all right, now notice carefully here, and we go back to Galatians 2, I have to, in verse 20, where Paul says:

Galatians 2:20-21

(20) I [have been] crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ [lives] in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. [See that’s getting out of the way, as Brother Branham said. And in verse 21,]

(21) I do not frustrate the grace of God:

Now he tells you, frustrating the grace of God is taking everything from God, and then using it your own way, instead of letting God, Who has delivered you from darkness to light, use the very ministry and the gifts and the life He’s given you.

He being the Head, the Creator, the Owner, you being the steward, you now stewards in your body, your body listening to the stewardship of you, your stewardship coming from God, you listening to God, and he said, “I don’t frustrate the grace of God by acting independently!” Doesn’t say destroyed, he said he frustrates it.

25

In other words, if grace is a free gift and everything lies therein of the gifts and the energies and the power of Almighty God, God Himself in you, how can we demand headship away from God, when God alone knows what is required and how to produce it?

Now that doesn’t mean your mind becoming a blank. “Oh God I’m going to stand here now, my mind becomes a blank. Yes I’m getting to be a blank. Yes I think nothing.

Yes I know nothing. Ah, there it is.” Forget it. Forget it. Doesn’t work that way. The renewing of the mind comes by the Word of God, by the Holy Ghost, and the Holy Ghost is within the Word of God, because the conduit of the Holy Ghost is the Word of God.

So therefore only can we be enlightened, only can we be guided, only can we do it as we have this Word of God hid in our hearts, and not just hid, but down there anointed to come forth back to the mind, where we begin to make voluntary actions.

In other words, voluntarily listen to God, through His Word, and begin to live the life that God wants, via that proper way.

And there isn’t any other way, my brother, my sister tonight. I realize that there are such things where you don’t even draw a blank, you’re not even thinking, but suddenly within your heart you know something, and that’s not ESP, something really that you know, this is something that I should do, this is something, you check the Word out, check your motive, and then go down the road. And you’ll have the blessing of God upon it. See?

So Paul all the while being that perfect stature, statue of God living and moving as God wants it. As William Branham himself attained.

And you and I are admonished to attain to. He said, “All right, I won’t frustrate the grace of God, because I know that my life as a life is His life, and the victory and the glory, and the power, and the crowns, and the future depends a hundred percent upon God, even as I depend upon Him now for my salvation and justifying me.

God You justified me, now here’s my life, live it. I’m Your steward. I’m responsible. I want to see it done.”

26

Now to frustrate means ‘to set aside’ or ‘disesteem’, ‘to neutralize’ or ‘violate’, ‘to cast off’ ‘to despise’, ‘to reject’, ‘to bring to nothing’.

Now if you want to read then Romans 2:1-11, you could do that. We might look there; we’ll postpone dinner till three o’clock. And it says:

Romans 2:1-3

(01) Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest [do] the same thing.

(02) But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them [that] commit such things.

(03) Thinkest thou, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

In other words, here are people looking around, they say, “Well I can do it, but you can’t. Hey you know the Word says so, but you know I got this freedom here.

You know I just go ahead. I don’t feel any condemnation, bless God.” Certainly not, because you’re not a seed. See?

These guys all the time pointing the finger, like one fellow says, “When I point a finger,” he said, “I got at least three pointing back at me.” But how many people believe it? See? The point [Inaudible] that’s not what counts. But he says here,

Romans 2:4

(04) [When you do such like that, you’re] despis[ing] the riches of [God’s] goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God [is leading you] to repentance?

He said, “God’s trying to show you something.” Can’t you understand what you’re accusing somebody else of, and you’re doing it yourself, God’s trying to show you, “Hey look, that’s not the way to go.

” The way to go is in the perfect law of liberty where God has His way in your life and my life, and we’re all living for Christ. And brotherly love is flourishing. And remember,

Romans 2:6

(06) [God] will render to every man according to his deeds:

27

That’s nothing but Galatians. A man reaps what he sows. That’s nothing, that’s the same thing: you sow it, you reap it.

And the tragic thing is this, we have not been taught, and we are not teaching our children, and take them out and say, “Son, daughter, I’m going to show you kids something, we are going to plant this grain of wheat here, we’re going to watch it grow, we’re going to water it,” like I had at my place.

I’d go out there, and I was so happy, you know what? I don’t even know how the wheat got there. And I’d look out there and I’d find that this little grain of wheat fell here, and a little grain of wheat fell there, and a little grain of wheat fell there.

Now then what happened? I’ll tell you what happened. Like a hailstorm comes, and if a hailstorm comes at the right time, now anybody farming knows this, unless things have changed since I was a kid on a farm. Now let’s say I’ve sowed wheat.

And a hailstorm comes, and it knocks that wheat down when the wheat’s just that high. You know what happens? The farmer would say? “Oh, goody, goody, goody.” You know why? Because the wheat stools up.

Now instead of one stalk, there could be two or three stalks. Is that how it still goes Greg? Still goes. See? That [Inaudible] you got mowed down, you got kicked in the teeth.

Oh that’s okay, Lord, hallelujah, we’ll set out another stalk. Pretty soon there’s three stalks there. So that wheat in my yard, as far as I know I had a bunch of them, maybe six of them, with three stalks.

One grain brought up three stalks, and on each little shoot up there at the top, there were I would say, at least twenty berries. Oh man! Twenty times three, sixty! And only… I didn’t even plant one. Nature did it. God did it.

28

Now see, if that’s planted in me, look what I can bear. Thirty, sixty, a hundred. At the same time, you plant adversity by going against the Word of God, take your kids out and show them, “Look kid, if you lie, it will come up maybe sixty times more than you ever thought.

If you do this sin and this thing here, look at this plant, this is what God said, what you sow you reap.” But remember, what you sow, you don’t sow a nickel, and get back a nickel!

With what measure you meet as you sow, you get many nickels back. I gave you how it was when I said I’m determined to trust God twenty percent on the gross, not ten percent anymore.

That’s over thirty years ago. Yeah, thirty years ago. So somehow I got two hundred dollars in my hand. I said, “Okay Lord, twenty bucks to a preacher friend of mine, twenty bucks to a dear sweet widow who just lost her husband.”

In no time I got twenty, twenty-dollar bills. Now if I was going to make greedy hogs out of you, I’d say, “Oh, you give a dollar, and hallelujah, I got a vision, you’ll get a thousand dollars back.” I’m no Pentecostal floozy.

29

…We have all ready seen stewardship exactly worked out good or evil on the premise of sowing and reaping. Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

You sow to the flesh, you get carnality, and the flesh, and death. You sow to God, what do you get? You get a reward here, and a reward thereafter.

Now, even oral gifts in the church are based on Paul, God ordained commandments. See? I better get that here, because I can’t always quote.

Galatians 6:10

(10) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

So it tells you right there that gifts in the church are used to edify the body of Christ. Brother Branham used the gift of the spirit in a remarkable way. Yet the Holy Spirit hauled him up short, and said, “You’re making a show of these things. Making a circus.”

I couldn’t understand that, because I thought Brother Branham was wonderfully reverent! I didn’t see a sideshow. It impressed me, here is God, here’s the moving God, I’ll tell you what it was! It was not edifying the body of Christ, because he didn’t take it right to the Word and say, “Now people, watch this!”

And when he did, which he had to do, he was then edifying the body of Christ, and he put the church in order, and gifts, and they said, “Get out of here, Branham, we’re walking out.” Let me tell you what. He put the Bride in order.

And listen, and he warned us, he said, “Never take these carnal things down here, when the heaven is full of the real.”

And remember, every carnal thing had its roots in reality, because it was created by God, and carnality is simply meaning you’re using it wrong. Instead of right.

You can see from this sermon the Bible’s corrected us, “What manner of people we ought to be,” and Brother Branham used that very phrase to my knowledge.

30

All right. You go then to 1 Corinthians 14, and so on down the line. And to Romans 12, go over and see where gifts were used. And every time it was for edifying the body of Christ, the household of God.

But the people came running just to see, just to see a performance. Did they understand that his discerning was Hebrews 4:12? No, they didn’t understand. They didn’t know, and they didn’t give a rip. Let’s face it.

Now there is not one seed or born one, who becomes a reborn one of the spirit, but is a servant like his master. See? A veritable bond slave, even as Jesus is.

Yet in His position of trust as High Priest, and guarding the Father’s throne. Do you think that Jesus is a usurper? Do you think He’s anything but a trusted bond slave?

Do you think He’s anything but a Son? Anything but a steward? Now in the final analysis! Now look it. Hey look it all the glory, look at all… forget that!

What is He within Himself in the economy of God, which God has raised up and glorified? A steward. A man who possesses something he didn’t have on his own, what was given him by somebody else, and says, “Here’s what it is, use it!”

And Brother Branham brings that out when he preached the message down there in Shreveport, when he talked about the Invisible Union, and the manifestation of sons of God.

The Son of God trained by a Tutor. And he brings Him back to the Master. And the Master say, “Oh, you’ve done a tremendous job, this is indeed My Son, bone of My bone, flesh of My flesh, mind of My mind!”

And he said, “What better teacher than the Holy Ghost,” and how does the Holy Ghost teach? By words.

And Paul said, “The words that I give you are the commandments of God Himself,” the same as William Branham’s.

31

So there’s where we stand this morning, and there’s nothing you and I can do about it except rejoice and be glad and take it, and run the course of life with it.

A bond slave, yet taken from the ranks and given different gifts for different offices and fully endowed and endued and fully responsible for his services toward God, and all that responsibility is the original purpose and commission of God to His Own, and we can never change it as seen in the words of the Apostle Paul, over here in,

1 Corinthians 6:12

(12) All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

In other words, there are laws within our members, which are natural, which are good, but you better watch out, they can take over and destroy you.

You can come under their dominion, but there is a law of liberty in Christ that never destroys, that elevates, uplifts, and brings forth bountiful harvest unto eternal life, even where Paul admonished, “Let no man take thy crown.”

Don’t let somebody steal from you, especially the devil, what God wants for you. Because it’s there and somebody will rise to the occasion.

I don’t want to be a Jonah, fussing and fuming with God, I want to be a Paul, I don’t claim to be, but I want to be that way.

32

Now we won’t go into the contest and the truth of what we’re looking at unless we go to Romans 14:22. And over here it says:

Romans 14:22

(22) Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

There again you got the same thing. You can allow at times when you should disallow. You won’t lose your salvation, but you’ll lose a whole lot of what lies in the grace of God, which is your salvation.

All right, we have now opened the door very wide to go to 1 Corinthians. 6:12, and here’s where we’re getting to the tough part, because this is something I have not lived, and this is something that you have not lived, and this is something that nobody’s living. The question is: when are people going to try to live it? This has to do with the human body.

33

And we go then to 1 Corinthians. 6:12, reading as I read here:

1 Corinthians 6:12

(12) All things are lawful, all things are not expedient: [and we know that to be absolutely true. They are lawful, they are not expedient. They are there, we mustn’t do with them what we are not to do.]

So in Genesis, the opening book, where the seed is thrown, we go to,

Genesis 3:8-12

(08) And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

(09) And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said, Where art thou?

(10) And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because [you see] I was naked; and I hid myself.

(11) And he said, Who told [you] thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, [which] I commanded thou shouldest not eat?

(12) The man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

Now you notice he didn’t give a direct yes. He began hedging. “Well,” he said, “Lord,” he said, “You gave her to me,” he said, “I did it.

If she wasn’t there for the taking, why’d You bother putting her there? Well she’s mine, isn’t she? I got a right.” Well come on, read your Bible.

All the beasts had a mate, but not Adam. Yet Adam had the life of humanity. So He simply took a rib out, put the flesh on it, put the spirit, the soul in there, now she’s a perfect human being, just like he is.

Now the animals don’t multiply by talking to each other, or God giving some special sign. They run by instinct of course, which is in nature.

So now he’s got a mate. So now she’s messed up with the animal. Your Pentecostals still don’t believe this, they can’t. There’s no way.

They’re naked, wretched, miserable, blind, and they boast in their money. They hate God and they fight Him, but they scream they love Him.

Do you believe that? I’m telling you the truth; I know what it’s all about! I wouldn’t be up here preaching if I didn’t know what it was about. See?

Genesis 3:13

(13) The Lord said unto the woman, What is this thou hast done?

34

Now if this woman had simply eaten a piece of fruit, why would God be so dumb and so stupid to say, “What have you done?” He knew what she did.

This is not just confession is good for the soul. This unravels a mystery. What really was all about this thing that she did, concerning this tree?

Which never came out of the ground, because every tree that comes out of the ground bears a fruit you can eat. Doesn’t kill you.

This tree could not have come out of the ground, because it kills you. What kills you? Sin! Sin entered in and death by sin. Unbelief.

So now she does something with what she has that is perfect that God gave her, she shouldn’t have done! And he has done something with God gave him, which is perfect for a good and right cause, a righteous cause, and he’s done something he shouldn’t have done!

Now she comes before God, “What is going on here? What do you think you can do with what I laid here? What do you think you’re doing? Tell Me, give Me the story now, let Me get a confession out of you.” Third degree.

35

Now is she going to lie? He doesn’t lie, he just says, “Well,” he said, “now You gave her to me, so all right, that ought to fix the case up.”

“So woman what about you? You’re involved, hey? Tell Me about it.”

Genesis 3:13

(13) …And [she] said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

“He completely seduced me!” Tell me what is immoral in eating an apple, or an apricot, or a pear or a pineapple? Now if you eat too many pineapples, if you can handle them, they’re marvelous for you. Contains brome lain, a powerful enzyme, kill every bug in your body.

Clean up your worms, everything else. But if you got acidosis, you get blisters on your lips, and won’t be able to talk, which might be a mighty good thing for a lot of us. Or eat maybe.

So she said, “What happened, this serpent here got me to do with what You gave me, he completely demoralized me, made me immoral,” and that’s immorality!

To take exactly what is right and use it against the intent and purpose! So you can take the truth and turn it into a lie! And you can take a truthful thing and make a slander and destroy somebody. And she took her body and the act of procreation and turned it into filth.

She did a treacherous immoral thing. She was wrong. And once she betrayed Adam and God, Adam should not have taken her, as Brother Branham said, and I have preached on different occasions, [she] played God, the same as Abraham did, because God could not destroy Sarah, though she made God a liar, because she was part of Abraham, and Abraham a part of God. And we find the same thing there.

And Sarah messed up a lot of things by her stupidity. Yeah. Even though she was a part of Abraham, she messed up good. She brought Ishmael on, and you know how she did it.

And you know what Eve did. She committed adultery with the thing that was so close to a man that they could crossbreed, and produce hybrids that reproduce themselves, which is against the law of nature, unless you are so close, close, close, it can be done.

And in the close, close, close, close, close, it can be done, and that’s why we have a hybrid race today, that’s ninety-nine point ninety-nine percent of one father, and point zero one, if that much, of another father.

Which would be Adam. Eve was the mother of all living, and I told you many, many times, the Bible says she’s the mother of all living, but it doesn’t say Adam was the father of all living, and I said that years, thirty years ago, before science last year proved one mother, two fathers.

So here she was all messed up and she set the thing in a terrible order, which should not have been.

36

Now the original gift of grace by God was Genesis 1:26-29, and He said to them, “Make man in our image, have dominion,” and so on and so on, made in the image of God, blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply, and do all these things here.”

Now when she, the main thing was to be fruitful and multiply, to bring forth children, but the minute they got the right act at a wrong time, in a wrong way, it bred complete sin and brought the human race down, because what they did was in unbelief with the Word of God.

And you can take the Word of God and handle it, and use it in unbelief, and you’ll reap this. Some of you are doing it right now.

Don’t try and kid me, I’ve done it; you’re doing it. You don’t justify, I don’t justify myself, it’s the Word within the framework, is always what counts.

You cannot get the Word outside the framework. Now you become hybridized, and when you do you become a tool of the devil, and you’re in Satan’s kingdom; one word off is Satan’s kingdom, and it proved it.

Because one word off took them right over into his thralldom.

37

All right, now seed, what did God want? He wanted seed. That’s what we find out in Genesis 1:26-29. In the likeness of Adam who was in the image of God in flesh.

He gave them the means to bring that seed, and Eve gave way to an act of desire and pleasure, illegally, as Brother Branham preached in Marriage and Divorce, interrupted the plan of God, and caused evil to multiply upon the earth because the act was done by Eve, which was reserved for her husband.

Husband and wife, and never out of wedlock, and the purpose was for childbearing, but from that time on it has been set forth as an instinctual pleasure and strong desire which now is the main purpose of the act.

As Brother Branham said, “Children are born from sexual desire.” That wasn’t the way it was supposed to be.

38

Now we go back and we look at our verse again in,

1 Corinthians 6:12

(12) All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: [and that’s true.] all things are lawful, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Right there what goes within the human body is positively lawful because we’re born with it. But to be brought under the power of it is the gateway to sin.

Now you’re going to have a certain amount of the power that’s there, that’s useable. And it has to be, it’s ordained of God, it’s a righteous act.

The bed is undefiled under a certain condition. Don’t ever fuss with that. The point is there are things laid down in the Word of Almighty God which we must take heed to.

39

So we start with,

1 Corinthians 6:9-13

(09) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolators, [see that follows, that’s a type of fornication.] nor adulterers, [that’s worse than both of them, because that’s two people, four people in wedlock getting messed up.] nor effeminate, [that’s your homosexual,] nor abusers with mankind, [well you go from the effeminate, which don’t even know what they are and they’re just fooling around like a bunch of nuts, and now you go then to the actual homosexual.]

(10) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

(11) [But] such were some of you: but ye are washed, ye are sanctified, ye are justified [by] the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. [Even by the Spirit of our God.]

(12) All things are lawful unto me, all things are not expedient: all things are lawful, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

(13) Meats for the belly, belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. [That’s true.] Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

Now don’t forget that’s the highest calling, temples of the Holy Ghost. What we have inherently and we are to use properly, that’s fine. You use it in that realm. But you go beyond it.

1 Corinthians 6:14

(14) And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

That’s a resurrection where Brother Branham said God will create again but not by sex, but through the resurrection bringing back the potash, the cosmic light, and all those things together until we’re new creatures.

1 Corinthians 6:15-16

(15) Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of an harlot? God forbid.

(16) What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

And Brother Branham said you can’t take a woman to your bosom and she not make an impression upon you, and you’re upon him. Your circuitry begins to begin to take a different pattern entirely.

And that circuitry in your body taking a pattern can be unto life or can be unto death. Use it wrong, it will bring diseases, and nobody knows how it comes.

It will come. It’s there. Use it right; you have no danger. That’s why a woman living with a man that’s fooling around with the women today, he might even be bisexual, might be a mess, better divorce him. But stay single. That’s a price you pay. See?

1 Corinthians 6:17-18

(17) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

(18) Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but [watch,] he that committeth fornication [sins] against his own body.

You steal? That won’t do it. You lie? That won’t do it. You kill somebody? That won’t do it. You get engaged in fornication, you get messing around; this is the one thing that will do it.

Look what it did in the beginning. Sin against your own body, bringing it down. See?

40

Now if it’s the sin against the body and that body dies, then you tell me what sin was in the Garden of Eden? Fornication. Don’t tell me the Bible doesn’t add up.

I don’t care where you take this Word of God, I’ve said before, you give me one, or you give anybody that knows the Word of God, one doctrine, and you’ll find every other doctrine lines with it, you don’t skip a beat.

Because the Bible is an integrated whole, the living Word of the living God, and it’s called ‘bread’. Man shall not live by bread alone, but every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. That’s the true bread of God.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

(19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and [you] are not your own?

(20) [You’ve been] bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Many people that get rejoicing in the spirit so much, they think it is, they go out and commit adultery. You know that’s one thing that I’ve heard against Pentecost many years?

Their camp meetings they praise God, have a great time, everybody shouting glory, then go out and commit fornication.

So that’s what the Holy Spirit’s for to get you all roused up, have a happy time? Gratify the flesh? Come on, come on, come on, that’s spiritual prostitution, and that’s idolatry, that’s your vestal virgins, that’s your sexual temple worship, that’s a fraud perpetrated upon people.

What are we trying to do? Frank you and I went through the buzzard up there in Canada, he’s still down in Texas here messing around. You talk to Frank and me; we know the ropes.

41

All right, these verses are plainly emphasizing that human sexual desire must not have control over our lives, no matter how strong the desire from instinct or pressure of the hormones, raging hormones, the act must be positively controlled and used only in wedlock or it is plainly condemned by God with retribution from God, even to several generations, ending in a contemplated pleasurable suicide.

Now I got news for you. How many heard of that experiment they made with rats, where they found the center of sexual pleasure in the brain, and they tapped in, and the rat learned that he could go and touch his head in a certain little place, and he would get a stimulation, and what happened to the rat? He died. By going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.

42

So to the fourth generation, sexual degeneracy can hit. Suddenly they can’t find the reason, but it’s there, because God said you’ll destroy your body. You sin against it.

After the third and fourth generation, syphilis will come in at any time, the second generation syphilis becomes deteriorated, the third generation is worse still, and the fourth the babies are born where they are so dumb, so vegetated, that they cannot reproduce and they’re gone.

We’ve had four generations of sexual nonsense. Four, five, six, seven. Seven came with the true light. Under the Catholic church the whores all got together and produced the multitude of the daughters. Five, you got Luther; six, you got Wesley; seven, you got Pentecost.

And at the end of the age there comes life because of the Garden of Eden and the sin committed in the Fourth Church Age of adultery, fornication, and idolatry, now the race is wiped out. And what have you got? AIDS, and they’re hiding all about AIDS.

Oh it’s on the decrease, oh they’ve got this, oh they’ve got that, and yet they can’t even cure a sore throat, because the streptomycin, there’s only one drug left that even begins to handle it, and they’ve had a case now that it can’t handle it.

43

Now we’re talking legitimately concerning a physical truth from the Garden of Eden, six thousand years, and I’m not pulling my punches.

As I said, look, I’m not a goody-goody up here and saying, you know Lee Vayle had it all cut and dry, boy, when he was a boy. Oh, he told you… I never had another woman in my life; I admit that.

Never smoked, never drank. But that doesn’t absolve me. I had as many raging hormones as anybody else. And I admit I did not fit the category of a true legitimate servant of Almighty God keeping my vessel under control.

Now as I say, I’ve been legitimate concerning with my wife. And I have not been illegitimate in ways which the world does things.

But the point is I am not a goody-goody two shoes telling you that I have lived this kind of a life, and there’s nobody here going to tell me he or she has, because they haven’t.

But we’re now at the end of the ages where there’s something more required, and that is a purity of the Word of God and a purity of the body which is controlled, and sexual intercourse is not set aside, but it is taught in a way that the young people know what it is all about, and by the grace of God they live within that realm, and the parents have got to help them do it.

I wasn’t helped, my wife wasn’t helped, our kids weren’t helped very much either. Everything I learned in the gutter. Wasn’t taught anything.

But that doesn’t excuse me, and doesn’t excuse you from being taught and doing what is right. So that’s what it’s all about here. See?

44

Now having finished with chapter 6, which we read there, we go into chapter 7, and it says here,

1 Corinthians 7:1

(01) Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

Now that tells you there something which is of an order that does not apply to everybody, because Jesus himself said there are eunuchs that are born of God, simply born of men, there are men that make themselves eunuchs and so on, and they said, “Well then, it’s good for a man not to marry,” and he said, “all men cannot take this.”

And all men cannot take it, if they all did it, then they would be against the Word of God, because procreation would cease, and God could no more have children on this earth!

So don’t take a scripture and run with it and go goofy over it, take it and put it in the context of what has been going on.

Now he’s talking about keeping your vessel in submission, because your vessel is a temple of the Holy Ghost, you are a temple of the Holy Ghost, and yet you have a divine commandment to propagate.

And there is only one way to propagate, and sorry to say, it’s all by sexual desire! So therefore the highest order is not in effect in propagating!

But the propagation must be there with the highest order in order to really please God. And listen don’t pretend I’m going to tell you for one minute that you got to be this way and you got to be that way.

I’m only presenting the truth, that’s all. And I’d have known before God if I’d have had the truth taught to me, I would have been a better person for it.

Because I would not have had certain worries and certain things in my life, which I should not have had. Yet I never did have fornication and these things. So as I say I had my troubles in a way, like everybody else does.

45

He said,

1 Corinthians 7:1-4

(01) …It is good for a man not to touch a woman. [Now he said,]

(02) Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

(03) Let the husband render unto his wife due benevolence: and likewise the wife unto the husband. [That is a mutual coming together in the act which God has provided.]

(04) [Now] the wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

Now again it speaks of mutuality. And this is called making love, whatever you want to call it. And the woman cannot refrain, the man cannot refrain.

Many people, women and men both, refrain or withhold sex for some time as a punishment. Or of an anger. Or something else.

The Bible said, “You are wrong.” It takes two to tango, and if one invites to dance, the other dances. Let’s get that flat. A lot of marriages have had this problem.

Problems where men have gone too far, women not far enough, and vice versa. And now you’ve got men with men and women with women, and you have hell on earth.

Because that’s what follows, this earth will be burnt over. Hell from beneath moved up.

46

So all right, let’s keep reading.

1 Corinthians 7:5

(05) Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

So all right, you got it with you at all times. It’s what the old Mohammedan or Muslim saying is, “When there is a man and woman alone, or together, Satan is there.”

Take it back to the garden. You got a problem. That’s why Brother Branham preached the way he preached, go back on the tapes, you’ll find everything I’m saying is in Brother Branham’s tapes in some way or other.

Now it says you cannot defraud each other, that means hold yourself back, unless it’s for prayer and fasting, and even then you had better be very careful, because if a male goes into prayer and fasting, the first thing happens, the glands begin to be renewed by the very fact that you’ve left off these pressures, and a man can be driven to sexuality in about the third or fourth day.

A guy in Pennsylvania told me how he was praying and fasting, and this young girl came before him in a vision, of course he wanted her sexually before he ever started praying and fasting, and he was quite sure that that was the girl he should marry, divorcing his wife.

I wrote back and I laid him out cold like I’m laying out cold this morning. And I laid him out cold, and I explained to him exactly how the human body reacts, and it’s in that period of time right there, a male can have more hunger for his wife than at any other time, and he can blame it all onto God, and convenient get something from the devil, to make him marry a woman.

47

Now remember what Brother Branham said to a certain preacher who wanted a young girl. He didn’t like his wife anymore. And he had a lot of excuses to get rid of her.

I don’t know what they all were, but he had them. And he went to Brother Branham. And Brother Branham said, “Listen, if you divorce your wife and marry her, you will go to hell, and she will go to hell, and all your children born will go to hell.”

He didn’t say it quite that way. He said, “She will not go to heaven, you will not go to heaven, and your children will not go to heaven.”

This is not a tough question. This is simply acquiescing to God and saying yes to God, and watch how the burden lifts. Remember the way of escape of all temptations is bearing it.

Remember the way of escape in temptation is bearing it. Again I repeat the way of escape is not that the temptation is not there, but you go through and you bear it. Huh? Huh?

All right young men, you listen to me. This is the last sermon on Stewardship, the last one I may ever preach, I don’t know. This is a tough one. I’m not happy preaching it, don’t worry, but I know what the Bible says.

48

Now he said,

1 Corinthians 7:6

(06) I speak this by permission, and not [by] commandment.

This is something that Paul brings out, and lets you know as a matter of fact of life, that there is a commandment against men not marrying and women not marrying.

There’s a commandment against abstinence, unless positively that is a part of your life you’re dedicated to, and you can bear it.

It is not something you suddenly glom onto, and said, “Oh my, I’m going to go through this and be a better person, or something like that,” and fall trapped of the devil.

When I was down in Venezuela one time, a man sent a question up, and he said… how did he put it now? He said, “Brother Vayle is it all right” he said, “I’m married, is it all right to be…” well the point was to never enter the act again.

I said, “Brother, you should have thought of that before you got married. Because your wife’s got a powerful say in this.” Yeah.

49

It tells you right here. Women are responsible, men are responsible, both are enjoined in it, both have the like passions; there’s no two ways about it.

You men think, “Oh, I’ve got a great passion, it’s my hormones, the woman doesn’t have it.” Let me just ask you one question men.

What does the woman not have that you have that makes her go through submitting to you, getting pregnant, getting hemorrhoids, all distended, varicose veins, vomiting, burping in the morning, at night, wanting even maybe pickles and ice-cream, being physically unbalanced, emotionally unbalanced, yet she loves it to bear a child?

Tell me. If she hasn’t got an urge for something, my God what has she got? Do you think I want to go through with hemorrhoids, varicose veins, distended stomach, stretch marks? Could even die?

My food doesn’t taste good, yet I’ve got to keep on living and working? Then I got to have a baby vomit all over me, get up and change it, everything else.

So what does she got? “Why she’s just nice, and she’s just…” Oh shut up and grow up. Pardon me, but that’s the truth. You see, he continues right on down.

50

Says,

1 Corinthians 7:7

(07) I would that all men were even as myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another…

If you’re the marrying kind, you get married. I’m the marrying kind. And I just knew how to say the right thing at the right time. Like Brother Branham said, that’s one of the great keys.

I said to God, “Look Lord, You know I’m the marrying kind, and You better get me a real woman,” so in other words the one that He wanted for me, “or I’m going to mess up sure as You’re alive.”

And He gave me Alison. And I’ve never known what real love was until as later and later on in life, to realize the depth and the understanding and the perfection that woman brought to me.

You don’t get that outside the will of Almighty God. You don’t get it. You can make a lot of mistakes in the will of God, but I’m going to tell you one thing. His grace is supreme, and His love is overwhelming. Now he said,

1 Corinthians 7:7-8

(07) [All men are not like me.] But every man [has got his own] gift [from] God…

(08) I say therefore…

And by the way you men aren’t gifts of God to women; don’t ever think so. There’s a lot of men just think they’re the butterfly checking the honey or the flowers.

That’s okay for a heathen to say, but not for a Christian. Get real. It all started back in the garden, a legitimate thing, legitimate desire, became an overwhelming contradiction to reality, because it was distorted and put out of place.

51

And Paul said,

1 Corinthians 6:15-16

(15) Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I take the members of Christ, and make them members of an harlot? God forbid.

(16) What? know ye not that he [that] is joined to an harlot is one [flesh]? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

Now listen, it is true that for a man… put it this way. A man who wishes to impose himself upon a woman, or a man who would make an advance toward a sweet Christian mother, and I had Brother Branham’s word on it, had better get himself a prostitute.

You know why? Because that’s what he wants anyway, and he’s all ready joined to it. And that’s what he is. Whoremonger.

A man joined to a woman sexually is one flesh, whether he wants it or not, they’ve made an impress. People have said because you’re espoused, and Brother Branham said it, you’re actually married.

Brother Branham wrote a couple, and I was surprised of it, you’re not married, you get that certification, but on the other hand, why is it if a marriage is not consummated sexually it’s annulled. Even though we know annulment’s the same as divorce. That’s what marriage is about. And it’s a righteous act.

1 Corinthians 6:17

(17) He that is joined [to] the Lord is one spirit.

In other words, when you’re joined to God, become one spirit, which is true, your spirit doesn’t make His dirty, His spirit makes ours clean, therefore, we’re able to abide by the law that does not forbid, but sets the legal limitations of it.

For all things are lawful, but all things are not expedient. All things are pure to the pure in heart.  God is not the creator of anything evil or rotten.

The word ‘evil’ in the Bible means ‘trouble’. God does create trouble, in other words, He positively puts adversity in front of us, in order to test us and keep us on the right track.

52

Now verse 9, which we read there, speaks of burning. I think it does. Well, later on, anyway. There’s a speaking of… “Let a man rather than burn, he should marry.”

Now the word ‘burn’ there, many people just put down to magnified desire to the place of lust. I asked Brother Branham what it was.

And he not knowing the Greek correctly told me that that word means a man going around the congregation, seeking to have intercourse with the women of the congregation, and getting it, had better marry, because that’s what he wants, then get married.

And my advice would be marry somebody in the world and stick with a harlot, because you ain’t nothing but a harlot lover anyway.

And a male harlot is called a dog. So there’s a couple of dogs, is what it amounts to. How could anybody, in a true spiritual moving of the Spirit and the Holy Ghost, with the Word living from a living God, ever feel he was subjected by the Spirit of God, or his own spirit now joined to God, to be carried away by the lust of the flesh?

I could illustrate to you a certain man, call his name, which I’ve known for years, and you haven’t, to illustrate my point, but just take what I have to say.

That is the carnal act outside of marriage. This rebuke to males who are decidedly outside the stewardship of Genesis 1, but what about the females who also prey on men, as men prey on women?

How many men have been destroyed by women, their ministries? I won’t tell you about my own experience, because it was so foolish, I might as well as of hauled up and hit her in the jaw for all she meant to me.

Would have been a good awakening for her. But don’t think for one minute that women don’t go after men, and all you have to do is read a certain chapter in the Book of Proverbs, and there you’ll find, the woman says, “My husband is away on a long journey, and he won’t be back for a several weeks, and the bed is perfumed, I’m beautifully bathed, come on, let us make love.”

53

Did you read the paper recently where a thirty-five-year-old schoolteacher seduced a fourteen-year-old boy, had a baby by her? Her husband divorced her, took the kids to Alaska, and now she’s facing a jail term. Oh the men have the raging hormones do they now?

Do they now? Wasn’t Adam’s raging hormones, it was evidently something about Eve. She became a target, and an easy one. Where is the protections the fathers and mothers gave their daughters years ago? When the car came in they no longer sat in the front room, they sat in the back seat and whatever.

I’m not excoriating anybody; I’m here to bringing out what’s happened to our generation, and what’s happening now.

It’s a pitiful condition, because the stewardship of Genesis 1 has been neglected. See? More preachers have been ruined by women, than popularity or money, or even drinking or gambling.

The carnal act in marriage is a righteous act, and does not necessarily end in childbearing, because it was not so before the fall.

You’ll notice in Genesis. 3:16 it says, “Your conception shall be greatly multiplied,” because she went off the deep end.

And conception is always greatly multiplied where people do not listen to the Word of God and act and behave in a manner accordingly. Otherwise why do we have all these problems today?

54

Passion or desire itself is not a sin. The sin lies in leaving the original purpose that the act is for childbearing and in no way can it be disassociated from its prime or original principle, which God ordained.

In the Old Testament a woman who was pregnant outside of marriage could be stoned or burned to death. Her child could also be destroyed with her, which it would be.

And remember, even though the man is responsible, it’s the woman who got the burning. That is why Brother Branham said, “A man is meant to take it, and the woman must learn to say no.”

Not after marriage, no, no, no, no, no, no, you’re forbidden there, same with a man. No time to get angry, no time to get pity, he said this is marriage, this is a union, this is flesh, this is it.

And you’re not going to be without that desire, there’s no way at all possible, unless you are rock and stone, or you are deliberately stupid or mental or something. The woman says no.

Now here is the key spoken by Brother Branham. The woman is a sacred vessel for childbearing. Thus, unless she has the actual desire to be the mother of the man’s child, under no condition can she perform the act, and only in wedlock or she and the child die according to scripture.

That’s why God took David’s son from Bathsheba, the first one. You know that child was actually bastard born. David knew better. He knew better, he did it anyway.

He was not a true steward. And you know what happened? He got whipped, his family got whipped, and all of Israel got whipped.

That’s why if one member suffer, all suffer. If there’s one rotten apple, many people may not be healed; many people may not be helped.

55

In other words, everything we do must be by the correct motive. It cannot be by happenstance, or any emotion, or any desire within us, which becomes inordinate, or a little overbearing.

The consequences must always be looked at. And in this case we know that sexual intercourse is very desirable, it drives us, brings us into marriage, and its primary reason always is for childbearing, and that is exactly the thing that must be gotten over to every single, especially males, and even more especially the girls.

They must know. And not betraying, like even thirty years ago, where a young Baptist preacher, because thirty years ago he was much younger, and so was I, positively the women were getting their girls ready for college, and giving them means of birth control, because they knew they’d be in sexual intercourse.

Horrible, horrible thing. Never mind warning the daughters and helping, it’s “Go ahead, we know you’re going to do it anyway.”

Is this what the liberty of Christ is all about in a born again Christian? Where are we lost our gentleness and our desire to serve God?

It was not Knox, I cannot remember exactly who it was, but it was a great preacher in England, walking down the street one day, and he had his young son with him. And the man made a very crude remark, supercilious, biting, sarcastic.

And the man of God humbly stood there and he said, “Oh sir, do not say those words before my son. I’m raising him to be a Christian.” Today it’s just a joke, something we pass over.

It is not serious, and the Bible says every word we shall give account for, and if every word, then what about every single act?

56

In the case of rape there is no room for the man except death. And every rape should have a death sentence. Thus the woman cannot claim even seduction, as did Eve, for her sin.

In other words, the woman doesn’t have any sin at all if she’s raped. The man should die. But what is the teaching today? Fun, fun, fun. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

Why hold yourself back? Hey, it’s what H.G. Wells said, perhaps Bernard Shaw, I’m not quite sure now. But they said it so cruelly, so truthfully, so awfully, and so rotten.

“When two people, that’s the male and female, have the means of mutual pleasure with them at all time, they will indulge.” Nah, they won’t if they’re born again. No they won’t if they’re trained right. No they won’t if they’re taught the truth.

Now I was raised in the gutter, and I shunned fornication, adultery, and those things. And I’m not boasting, I was very, very, very fortunate, very blessed of God.

I’m not one of those who perpetually look back on life and say the greatest sin is the sin you didn’t sin when you could have had a lot of fun doing it.

Because that’s not true. Finally learned to look back and say, “Thank God, thank God that I wasn’t pulled in to what my forbearers were pulled in, and my own children.”

And I neglected foolishly, stupidly, not to hammer it all out. Like we’re hammering it out this morning, and that’s the way it is.

Once she is in adultery or fornication she can be forgiven, but never justified, because all sin is without the body save fornication. In other words there’s no way that the record isn’t there.

Forgiven yes. But you see that’s what came in the garden, and that’s what’s still here. Illicit sex, which is called fornication or adultery, is a name for idolatry, because Christ has a Bride who must be a virgin.

She was in the beginning. Paul’s virgin Bride espoused to Christ left the Word for a false spurious spirit that claimed to be Jesus, but was the false one. In the Book of Revelation she is stoned with hundred pound stones and burned with fire, for she is a whore, unfaithful to her husband vows.

57

And you can read this in Revelation 14:1-5, because there’s a few verses we’re going to read it.

Revelation 14:1-4

(01) And I looked, and, [behold], a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

(02) And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, the voice of great thunder: I heard the voice of harpers harping their harps:

(03) And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, [it doesn’t say it wasn’t as it were, in other words, it had the real meaning and the life to it now.] and before the beasts, and the… song the hundred and forty four thousand [sang], which were redeemed from the earth.

(04) [They] were they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are [those] which follow the Lamb withersoever he goeth. [They are] redeemed from among men, being the first-fruits unto God and the Lamb.

That’s what God wants of a Bride. They are not in idolatry, they’re not messed up in organized religion and things, like the world is messed up in a fallacious type of what they think is pleasure.

Now James 4:4, and I’m going to skip a couple places here, hoping I’ll still have continuity, he says:

James 4:4

(04) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that friendship [with] the world is [the enemy] with God?

What is the world going into? What did Eve and Adam plunge the whole world into that day they stepped out from behind the world in unbelief? They got into fornication. He got into disobeying God’s Word, she certainly did. They became friendly with the devil.

James 4:4-7

(04) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, [that’s what God calls the people in Satan’s kingdom. You’re the enemy of God. How can you be the friend of God when you’re His enemy? See?]

(05) Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

(06) But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resist[s] the proud, [and] give[s] grace unto [them that are] humble.

(07) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Now here’s exact words that are used, concerning that which came from the Garden of Eden, and we should take heed to them.

58

Now we read in 1 Corinthians 6:9-20, so we don’t have to emphasize the whole thing, we just go back to 1 Corinthians 6, and we look at the 19th verse I have written down here, we want to look at.

1 Corinthians 6:19

(19) What? know ye not your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Now why is the body the temple of the Holy Ghost? We associate the Holy Ghost mostly to the soul, but the fact of the matter is that is not really true.

The Holy Ghost is associated with the body, because it’s the seal unto the day of your redemption, it’s guaranteed that this body, no matter if it goes even to ashes or to gasses, and there’s no trace, will come right back together, and you, that same person, will be in a resurrection.

So the body is a temple unto it. Now, a temple is something wherein God is worshipped. So therefore the purpose we are here is to have a relationship with God to worship and to serve Him in all righteousness, which is what we are to do continuously.

59

Now into James, the Book of James 4:5, it is said:

James 4:5

(05) Do ye think the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

In other words, the spirit in us, Spirit of God rises up and is envious, if we are giving ourselves to something other than what belongs to Him. He’s not pleased, because it’s a marriage.

He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit. He that is joined to the woman is one flesh. You got the same thing in the invisible union.

How does God feel if we’re stepping out of line in these things ?forbidden? To me it is saying in the infilling of the Spirit of God is more than capable of inspiring us to keep subdued, and keep our vessels until we find the right partner for marriage, even as we are in partnership with God.

In this hour we have the last opportunity to rear a virgin family of boys and girls, and get them ready to cross over, even while the whole world is fitfully and fully in sin, as there is told in 2 Peter 12-22.

60

So we go to 2 Peter 2, and we’re only going to read verse 14. And it says,

2 Peter 2:14

(14) Having eyes full of adultery, and cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

In other words, we are strong and stable in the Lord of Almighty. Now I am not teaching celibacy, or abstinence during marriage. That is forbidden as we have read to you in the Bible here, and also in 1 Timothy 4:1-3, you can read for yourself.

Now let us note very particularly what I am saying. No man or woman has a right to perform the marriage act apart from marriage, and knowing that the act is for procreation. Now that kind of puts a damper on it, and scares people many, but that is the actual fact.

Every act of intercourse is potentially, and can potentially bring forth a child, because that’s what it was intended for. That is exactly why men breed animals, to bring forth a stock. That is exactly why people have that act in order to bring forth children.

And remember that act was ordained of God, and it’s supposed to bring forth children unto God. And it did all the way down the line until the mixture came in, when the sons of God saw the daughters of men, and they got filthy in their imagination, they desired above everything else, they forgot the purpose and Presence of God, and you will find at that time the earth began to explode from that time on, not only in population, but in sin, until God wiped it out.

61

And today you’ve got the same thing happening right today! And if God does not come and save us from the cursed age, which is the sexual sin, this whole world within the four generations will simply die in this gasping breath.

How long does it take to raise up a generation? No longer than twenty years, than thirty or forty years, kids are having kids at the age of twelve, thirteen, and fourteen.

How long has AIDS been going on? Just about the generation all ready. How long can time go on? It won’t go on very long.

Because AIDS right now was incipient back there a couple generations ago, when they had gonorrhea which cannot be taken out by even penicillin or any other means.

Therefore those germs are within people right now. Why are children born with tumor on the brain? People dying crippled, everything else?

Because it’s a drug society, and a sex society, and drugs in society and sex coming together, now we’ve got Soros, a brilliant Hungarian Jew, and he’s giving millions of dollars to have clean needles.

“Go ahead,” he said, “you’re going to have drugs anyway. Go ahead, you’re going to have sex. I’ll give you a clean needle, and it’s going to stop it.”

Give them a clean bullet; it will stop it! And I’m not saying we should do that, I’m just saying death alone is going to stop it.

Who’s responsible? The church is responsible! Because the heathen didn’t know any better. It’s only the church that received the revelation, it’s only the church that had the power, it’s only the church that had the light, and what happened?

How did the goats get in? As Brother Branham said, they let down the bars. The bars were let down on sex. Even the Bible colleges have taught it all wrong. And we have a very, very bad situation, which I’m sorry, we are now enduring.

62

So we’re looking at this. Now we know particularly what I am saying. No man or woman has a right to perform the marriage act apart from marriage.

And knowing that the act is for procreation, except in rare instances, and that’s based upon Genesis 3:16, where we can understand absolutely that there’s not always the result of a child being born, there are people that are infertile, there are people that cannot have children.

And that is true. But the act itself was for that purpose, and that purpose remains today.

But today because the letdown of the church and the schools teaching sex education as they do, and the homes indifferent to the children’s problems, and growth, that the children are growing up, and the parents will not take the problems in hand.

They’ve allowed sin in their children, children are having babies, and they think nothing of it. Consequences therefore mean nothing. Reaping from sowing is nothing.

63

Years ago I read an article in France, they don’t care if the girl has an illegitimate baby or not, they just love babies, so bring them in, that’s fine.

Now listen, the love of babies does not go to illegitimately. Oh you say, yes it does, it sure does in America. What have you got?

You’ve got, what is it, this guy Ryan living with Faucet, having a baby out of wedlock, they’re not married, but they are in the eyes of God, and now they’re both living in some kind of adultery.

What about Madonna? She flouts the Pope, and then wants the Pope to bless their little baby. And he said, “We have more important things to do.”

Every place you turn around you’ve got the Hollywood whores, mating like dogs, and everybody, “A love child, oh look at this lovely baby, the ?Luritis? the little baby.”

And now you’ve got, what is it? I read the papers, I don’t watch the stupid shows, but I read the papers, the headlines, like everybody else does.

Not that I’m intent with it, but I happen to read a few of them. So what do you got? You’ve got this degenerate Ellen, Ellen the degenerate, yeah.

Homosexual. Now she’s got a baby, and she fought with her girl lover, but she’s going to have the baby anyway. And the law, everybody, ah, isn’t it wonderful? Isn’t it wonderful?

No. It’s from the pit of hell and they’ll be judged and they’ll die in their stinking sins, and we must not condone it for one second, but stand against it!

There is no room for homosexuality, say what you want! I don’t care what Elizabeth Taylor says, look how she’s dying now. And how she might still die. Oh, yeah, she and her Michael Jackson, and all the rest of them.

64

I’m going to tell you brother/sister, we’re not part of Hollywood. You and your family aren’t part of Hollywood. And you don’t look back and say, “Well Brother Vayle, I’m like those parents out there, when the question came, “What would you think if your child smoked marijuana?” “Well I don’t know, I did it myself.””

Look it, I don’t care what I did, and I don’t care what you did, this is a different hour. This is the day of reckoning, this is the day of repentance, because the message to Laodicea, repent, repent, repent, change your mind, what your mind allowed you to do, what you let your spirit allowed you, what you got your flesh, let your flesh get you into, repent, get over it, change your mind about it.

And don’t lay it down to Lee Vayle being of old age. That’s just part of the truth. The truth is I stand convicted by the Word of God. I wish I had been trained right.

I wish to God someone had taught me like I faithfully taught others. And I am not kidding you. I am not kidding you. I would to God someone had done for me what I’m trying to do for others.

And I’m doing it. I’d have been such a different person. It would have been so wonderful. To have known God all the days of my youth and lived it.

With no regrets. Finally I look back, I don’t have many regrets now. Because I think the days of vitality and the days of serving Christ and the Holy Spirit by the Word of God, has paid off to such an extent, using a vernacular from the world, I think at least the scales are balanced, if not, maybe tipped a little in my favor.

At least I hope. And I hope today if your scales have been tipped the wrong way, you’ll begin to tip them the right way.

There’s some of you here that I know you have got the scales balanced. You’re seeing your children grow up, they haven’t gone into sin, they’re marrying, bearing children; they’re living a life.

God bless you and continue to bless, and may those children be just as blessed as you’ve been a blessing to them, that they will do the same thing, because one day, very soon, it’s going to be over. How soon? It doesn’t really matter, but it is very soon.

65

Gratification is taught from the cradle, and few people are counseling and leading. Our children are our own lives duplicated. Dare we commit suicide by allowing a rampant sexual sin?

Sin, sex does not liberate! You’ve been taught that. Some of you here are part of the drug generation. Imbibed a little bit, and know what you were taught.

It doesn’t liberate; it enslaves, and destroys. It kills, and a sexual desire plague could come upon the human race within the generations we’ve spoken of.

And I am saying all this because this is stewardship. Stewardship has been abandoned in the case of marriage and its involvements for profligacy, and we have become profligate.

The woman is no longer steward of a sacred vessel for child bearing; she gives pleasure and seeks pleasure, which her desired end results in willfully putting aside the commandments and stewardship from God. The man is not content to accept his stewardship of reaping as he sows.

Living sensually has superseded true love. Men and women are promiscuous. Or have been, and are ashamed to be admonished, and therefore won’t admonish their children, because they lived the same lives.

Remember the children of Israel that came out of Egypt sinned in front of their children. It was sexual sin under Balaam, under the false prophet, they died, and their children died, and only those under twenty went into the Promised Land, and two older ones with them.

66

It is time to bite the bullet if we have been of those, and are of those who have lived in sexual sins, and counsel the children that God has saved us and our lives are not our own, and neither are our bodies, because they are to be temples of the Holy Ghost.

The higher callings of God must be set forth, and living solely for pleasure is a state of death and of the devil. God is not withholding anything from us by insisting we avoid fornication, but he wants us to have more than that, a full and whole life with no regrets and no damaging effects upon them and our future generations.

How fantastic to realize that God’s seed has come back to God, fulfilled their human vessels, that’s fulfilling their destiny, being full of the Holy Ghost, and bearing the lives which they live, so that like Job we can be with our children in the Millennium, and the eternal City.

And remember we’ve gone beyond the faith of Job according to the Bible, neither the faith of Abraham, Job, or Daniel could do anything much in this day.

What we’ve come to is way beyond the visitation of God to Abraham. We’ve gone way beyond the visitation of God to Paul.

We’ve come to the end time, where now the eating of the tree of life, which would have brought immortality, we’re right at that place now, the tree fully unclothed, and we ready for New Jerusalem via one thousand years Millennium, we are ready now for the eternal City, whether we know it or not.

67

Surely that is worth serving for, as we realize our bodies are temples of the Holy Ghost, and we are not our own, but bought with a price. In conclusion let me repeat, a licentious act of sexual intercourse is stupid, is typed as idolatry.

How can we who have the perfect revelation of the perfect Word of a perfect God, and we ourselves be perfected, do less than to manifest ourselves as that eternal seed of Jesus Christ, realizing, as I have already said, that fornication and adultery is a type of idolatry.

It’s a type of leaving our own Bridegroom, leaving God, and going after the world, living in pleasure, already dead and not knowing it. ending up in Laodicea, wretched, miserable, naked, blind.

And remember, let’s get this positively, they told you for a long time that AIDS was brought about blindness, and brought about the loss of memory, and brought about deterioration, but you don’t see it anymore in print.

O, oh no, they’re covering everything up, they’re telling you sexuality is just fine, let it be rampant, let it go, it doesn’t matter, let me tell you flat, it is the curse today, and it’s ending this world.

How dare we, as the Bride of Jesus Christ, ever go back on the Word of Almighty God, and not demand of ourselves and our children the sacred holy life we should have, which does not deny anything, does not deny anything, does not deny anything, which is of Almighty God.

But putting within the framework of which God put it, it brings forth greater pleasure, greater everything, greater joy, a greater family, a greater life that’s in the eternity to come.

68

And brother/sister, it’s all sold out because Eve did not consider her body a temple of the Holy Ghost. She thought it was all right to do what she wanted.

She took the scripture like a very carnal man said, and he took this scripture and said, where over in John where the Bible teaches, the spirit, the flesh profits nothing, it is the spirit that quickeneth.

And he said, “You can do anything you want,” and it got to Vic Weirwille in the way up here, and Rose sitting back there knows positively, Vic Weirwille brought back what B. J. Leonard taught in Canada, and Frank knows all about it, and they said, “Okay, you can commit adultery, you can do it, you can dance, you can be with naked women, you can do what you want.

Next day, you hit the pulpit, next day you go to church, and you can speak in tongues in the church, and you can glorify God in the spirit, and let me tell you this,” he said, “the flesh profits nothing. Don’t even think about it.”

It’s the same junk perpetrated upon a girl not long ago, by a man that said he believes this Message, and she said, “Brother,” she said, “I’m dissatisfied.”

She said, “I know I’ve been sinning, I’m a woman that’s divorced, I divorced my husband, and now I’ve been committing adultery.”

“Oh,” he said, “dear, you didn’t do it,” he said, “your old soul’s dead, you didn’t do it.”

She said, “But I did and I liked it.”

The flesh profits nothing? Do what you want in the spirit? Or do what you want in the flesh, doesn’t matter, let me tell you something, that’s a lie from the pit of hell.

Eve committed adultery on her husband. She started the ball rolling. She had a desire; therefore she was seduced. She could have kept her vessel; she didn’t do it.

Adam could have kept his vessel, now we’ve got a flock of degenerates in the world. Now they didn’t bring them in. She did through Cain, and the serpent. Adam, every child of God. Everything messed up.

69

So therefore, let’s not just talk about being nice people who speak nice things. Who love each other, pat each other on the back. You get the itch, I scratch you, I get the itch, you scratch me.

Now you know, oh, oh no, say kind things. Brother/sister, that’s all very well and good. I’m for everything that is smooth, everything that is nice, everything in balance, everything in delicate, everything charming, oh I love all those things, I love to go to bed feeling good, and get up feeling good.

I like to take a shower, the temperatures exactly right… suddenly cold water, ooh, there’s too hot. Oh no I don’t like that. Oh, just nice, nice, nice, nice.

That’s not the world brother, that’s not God. Existentialism almost had it, when they said, “We’re born of this world for one thing, to experience sorrows and problems, trials and tribulations.”

Not so, not so. We’re born in this world to glorify God, to go through everything that life has dealt us, because God is there in the first place, and to take what He has given us, use it correctly within the framework of the Word of God, and then know that our lives are blessed of Him.

Because when we walk in the light as He in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son cleanses us, and the prayer of John now becomes real, “My brethren, I wish above all else, that you might prosper and be in health as your soul prospers.”

Is that what we want? That’s what we can have. I’m sorry I took all this time, but I’m not, because now I’m finished, the series is over, I’ve not claimed for one minute to be that man that I’m talking of, I’ve not claimed that for anybody.

I could claim it for Brother Branham more than anybody I’ve ever met. But I’m going to tell you something. It’s there. It’s there for us and for our children, and I hope you never come to the place where you look back and say, “It could have been, but I didn’t do it, I wished that I had it.”

The saddest of all words of tongue or pen are these three words: it might have been. It might have been. How sad to say, it could have been. It could have been.

You’re saying it now, aren’t you? For a lot of things, I’m saying it in my life for a lot of things. But this is much more important, that your children learn the things that you never learned, and now they’re right.

Let’s rise and be dismissed.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for the time we’ve had of Your Word here, we know that it is not been something which we wanted to talk about Lord, that’s particularly gratifying to us, because then we’d have to stand here and say, look, I have done this, I have lived this.

There’s not one of us Lord that hasn’t had problems, but we know the thing is future generations, even our children are bearing problems we didn’t have to bear, and God, is it going to be said of us that we stood back and didn’t warn, and didn’t teach, didn’t help, didn’t advise, didn’t keep, when we could have?

Because we and they had everything needed to bring forth that life spoken of the Word, manifested sons of God, married to Christ, free from the bondage of sin and death in the world, because we’re walking in the light as He is in the light, and have fellowship one with another, till the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son cleansing us, marching on as the virgin Bride of Jesus Christ, to the Millennium, which will be just maybe a wilderness compared to the New Jerusalem. I don’t think so, but it certainly won’t be what lies at the thousand years and beyond.

So help us to realize Lord there is a goal to gain, there are great faculties and great powers within us whereby we can master every turn of life, whether it be life, death, things present, things future, things that have gone behind, height or depth, famine, persecution, nakedness, peril, sword, doesn’t matter.

More than conquerors through Jesus Christ Who loved us, having given Himself for us and now stands in and with us all the way.

We thank You Lord therefore for Your Presence, and what You promised us, we can and we will go down that road stronger, greater Christians, manifesting more of the life which is from Christ and in Christ.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be all power, honor, and glory through Jesus Christ our blessed Savior. Amen.

‘Take the Name of Jesus with you.’
